What are the kid's clubs like?

LOL, I was looking at that too and was going to post it. It doesn't say if there is a discount for more then one kid. I don't want to pay $22 an hour so DH and can get on our own.

    WDW on Blu-Ray

We just got a new blue ray too, it is fun to wacth thing on it. I don't know if they have anything on it, and I doubt they will make any. However the Christmas parade in HD was very nice! It almost felt like being there (but with no crowds or strange family trying to push their kids in front...

Question for parents of a little princess

That apron is adorable. What a cute idea. :sohappy: When we do princess dresses we normally wear them over a tank top and shorts, or bring changes of clothes with us. If it is cold we wear them over long selves and pants. The tank top and shorts can help if it is itchy and sweaty since they...

What are the kid's clubs like?

Can I piggy back on this thread too? We are going to WDW again in March and staying at BCV. We have been many times but never used the kids clubs before since when one kid was old enough, the youngest wasn't. Our DD's will be 4 and 7 at the time thought we might look into it. Where would I...

    First visit with my daughter...

My suggestions is pick what rides you start out on carefully. Don't start off on something to big or scary because if she gets spooked like my friends son did and not want to ride anything it can be a pain. Just work your way up to be sure. I agree about bringing your own food (snacks)...

Cinderella Castle Suite staying open in 2009

Good to hear. I hope they still give it out as a random prize daily. We spent a lot of time in the parks for the year (s) of a million dreams and never got one little one. It is nice to think we still have a slight chance at the castle. :) It was a fun idea, but they marketed it to make you...

    Dining in Mar

We are going in March too (1st week) and are planning our ADR's now. There isn't really anywhere big we are trying since we have been so many times before (plus DH and I have been losing weight so we don't' want to over eat.) We are staying at BCV. This is what we are considering. I need...

"While wearing a Birthday Button at WDW..."

I wasn't wearing a button, but when at boardwalk and filling out the paper work for renting bikes I told my DH I still had 2 more weeks of being 36 when they asked the age and the CM then gave us the bike rental for free. It was very kind especially since my birthday wasn't for a few weeks.

    Your ideal amount of time

Yeah, I think 2 weeks also. One never seems to be enough, but any longer then 2 would be a long time to be away from home. We would take a lot of time off and just hang out, maybe head over to Vero Beach for a few days too. Actually a few trips in with in a few months is kind of nice. We...

Yay! :sohappy: Oh and my vote was for Yay anyway! :p

For DVC Members....How Many Days for You?

164 days. BCV. I am a bit concerned about the pool rehab I just read about (or really DH read about.) Still we have a ways to go. :)

Avoiding getting spritzed with water on rides?

Disney doesn't get people as "wet" as universal does. I have only been to universal once, but I remember getting out of attractions and not appreciating their level of water. What we do for our girls is take their favorite blanket with them. They hold it up during "wet times." It helps them...

2 year old sleeping in a hotel room

Were are you staying? Different resorts have different accommodations. I think most can get you a pack n play. We have DVC and there is one in each room, but we had no problem getting one in non DVC resorts in the past too. Mod and deluxe resorts will have more room for a pac in play or...

To DDP or not to DDP??

Oh, I also wanted to add that by the time you go (just shy of a year) the plan may have changed yet again a few times. So deciding closer to your trip will be a good idea. I think they changed it last in Jan if I remember correctly. Most ADRs that are made can be changed and canceled with no...

To DDP or not to DDP??

I was a big fan of the DDP when they 1st introduced it. Since then they have made it less and less of a value and much less convinent. Taking away the tip has made it a big headache. Giving on Desert instead of apistier isn't good for people who are watching what they eat (even on vacation.)...

    Perfect for your Princess

Well, this one makes the 1st one look like a steal! What I have to do is show DH this one 1st, then say I really only want the 1,000 one and what a deal! :p Really I don't ever see myself having enough money that a 47 thousand dollar bed ever seems like a good idea. I shudder to...
