    DVC in Hilton Head? Tips?

So far HH is the only one we have never been to (besides Cal, if that one open yet?) We love Vero beach. I think it is the hidden jewel of DVC. My guess is HH would be very much the same. The biggest difference I think is HH resort isn't right on the beach and you need to take a shuttle to...

    DDP with DVC?

We used to get the dinning package with DVC when they 1st started offering it. It was a pretty good deal back in those days. In my mind I don't feel it is as good of a deal now that they took the tip and appetizer away so we don't do buy it anymore. To answer your question, no I have never...

The Brickers' First Disneyland Trip Report

What a great trip report and pictures! I just love the pictures. I recently got a DSLR camera and am still trying to figure out how to use it. My husband (Disney PhD) was telling me about this trip report and all the great pictures. He said he shouldn't look at it before bed because then he...

    Spring Break Crowds In March

We got back a few weeks ago . We were there Feb 27th to March 7th. I thought the crowds were well, strange. It felt like the walkways were really busy most of the time. Other times you had the park to yourself. The lines and wait times were not bad at all. We used fast pass often...

My problem with the dining plan!

I agree with you and have said so to Disney. I wrote them when they made the change to start with and complained. They called me back and said of course "this is what people want." I hate that answer. You know by reading on places like this it is. Like we really wanted them to take the tip...

Beach club villas - what are the best rooms?

We own at VWL and we much prefer BCV to it. The walk alone does it make it worth it, but add in being able to use SAB, all the other accommodations of Y&B (Beaches and cream, and other resturants) the great resort store with (with food and refills for mugs) I love the theme and atsompere, and...

WDW in May? How is it?

We have gone to WDW the 1st week in May many times and the weather and crowds have always been great (warm, sunny, low crowds.) I think it is my favorite time at WDW (but March or Jan is my favorite time not to be home and escape winter.) Less things seem to be closed for rehab at that time...

No more characters at Liberty Tree Tavern??

I don't mind the characters being gone, but I wish they would just do the lunch menu for dinner then. I love LTT for lunch, but never did it for dinner because I just do not feel like that type of food normally when at WDW. It just is too filling and makes you want to sit and do nothing, not...

    Soy milk

Funny, I never thought to ask for it at counter services, but always got it a sit down places. My DD has outgrown her milk allergy, but still drinks soy milk instead of milk. I think it is easier to find now a days then it was a few years ago.

    Disney with baby.

We took both of our girls before they were a year old. Anna was 8 months old. Lily we took at 7 months, and again at 9 months old. Disney with a baby is very do-able and Disney really does what they can to make it easy. It was always a much easier trip with a baby then any non Disney trip...

    Illuminations + Inauguration

I noticed it today on ABC between 1:00 and 2:00. Both my niece and I were like "Disney World Music!" I even changed my face book status to " finds all the Disney music they are playing on the inauguration coverage oddly comforting. Like everything is going to be alright.":ROFLOL:

    Spring Break Crowds In March

We will be there Feb 28th to March 7th at BCV. My DH teaches college so we have to go when he is off and it is spring break for his school. Spring break for colleges does seem to bring some crowds, and the prices are higher (or at least peak season) but it isn't anything like kids HS and...

    May crowd levels...I'm scared

The 1st week in May is great. Low crowds, good rates normally and almost always great weather.

    WDW Reservation Phone Issues?

We called member services this am to make our ADR's and and give them our flight info for magical express. The CM said then that the system is down and they were not able to access the system right now. I guess we will call back tomorrow. They were able to take the info for DME.

What are the kid's clubs like?

She will have fun, just most likely it won't be the highlight of her trip. One down night isn't a bad thing. She might even end up having a good time, especially if she keeps an open mind about it. One night to yourselves on your anniversary is not too much to ask. :animwink: Besides when...

    Liberty Tree Tavern

Are they keeping the menu the same? We love LTT for lunch, but never feel like a big holiday meal while at WDW, so we have never tried it for dinner.

What are the kid's clubs like?

Is there a minimum number of hours at Kids club? I think your DD is going to be a tad bored compared to the rest of the trip no mater what. The kids clubs are not like the cruise ships ones where they really have a lot of activities planned and there are lots of kids of each age. You aren't...

What are the kid's clubs like?

I was thinking that if your DD would be bored really depends on what she is like. If she enjoys playing with younger kids, helping out and amuses herself well she should be fine. If she feels above it then my guess is she will be bored. It sounds like she might. It looks like in room...

What are the kid's clubs like?

I know, DH and I were just discussing that. Normally we don't really feel the need to "get away from them" on vacation. Of course right now they are driving us crazy and I could so use a night away from them. LOL They are always better behaved at WDW. Maybe that is why it is our happy place...
