I never did understand why they took him out of POTC. I always liked him - and the Tiki Barker Bird as well.

They removed the Barker Bird when the original show closed. He didn't fit in with that "Under New Management" craptacular. Hopefully, they'll bring him back.

If they do make it interactive, the show will come full circle from it's original concept of a restaurant with audioanimatronic birds interacting with guests at their tables.
