love the resort itself and closeness to DTD. We prefer Epcot resorts because of the location. SSR is pretty big and sometimes it seems buses are slow to make it thru whole resort too.

Queen size sleeper sofa in living room is big enough for 2 kids. If strapped for points use 1 BR. If you have the points to use, go for the extra space 2nd bedroom gives you for luggage , souvenirs, nap time , different bed times etc.

We did it after we became empty nesters and bought DVC. We love it. Now we alternate between years by ourselves and years we invite children and grand children. Both are great.

We enjoy the break that a sit down dinner enforces. If it's hot the hour in cool comfort really helps, not to mention the breather it gives the little ones.

We always do this. We then usually have a fairly early dinner(TS with mealplan) usually around 6. We are all usually good to stay for parades and fireworks like Illuminations. This includes grandchildren. 9PM seems to be the hour when we run out of gas, even after reat/nap.

Dining plan is fine, It's the "free" dining plan that should be discontinued
