I think what @marni1971 is talking about is the GMR overhaul to a Mickey theme because of the 2019 copyright expiration. However; they did file a permit for work inside the ride earlier this week. So perhaps they're moving ahead with something else for GMR? Maybe not Mickey themed but maybe all...

While I like the Figment idea; the likely hood of that happening instead of a plain remount of the ride is not very likely and it would possibly go into the China pavilion because it's in HKDL and the Manor is based there OR since Lord Mystic; I may not remember correctly; has a British accent...

If the theatre is happening; would it be something like the old Tarzan/ Pocahontas shows in DAK or something country themed like with the country bears and beer bear or something of that nature?

I feel like this ride would do well in Epcot because it explores artifacts from all over the world. Idk; thoughts on this?

This is good news! This means that Disney is willing to expand into that highly unused land behind Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland. I was just saying the other day how it was stupid of them not to use the space they have there. Here's to hoping more will be coming to Tomorrowland in the future!

I think that something of this scale could possibly be something new. Same theme and ride type; but different story and track.

This has me a little worried because Martin did say it goes behind Speedway but not where that one photo showed it. Is this possible? Is a space mountain replace on the horizon for us at WDW?
