I saw that it was included with the "premier" resorts. But that would not save us money...it would just cost the same as if we stayed where we plan to stay (Cabana Bay) and buy the express passes. But in both cases, that is more than I want to spend.

So we will be going to Universal for 3 days before a week at Disney this August. I haven't been there since a one day trip about 10 years ago. The Express Pass is so expensive, that I am really unsure about it. Would it just be a terrible idea to not buy it? Will we be in for unbearable lines...

Depends. While I didn't initially find the songs to be something I needed to run right back to, my 10 year old son and every one of his friends, both boys and girls, know every word to every song and are still singing them constantly.

I will only do the marathon. I am trying to qualify for Boston and could not handle a race 2 days before the marathon. My wife, my daughters, and my son may all do the 10k, though.

I have done the full WDW Marathon twice and will be doing this one as well (my 11th full marathon overall). Can't wait. I have some family coming with me that want to run the 10K. I guess that one is going to be tough to get into?

That end date was Tuesday last year, which was for Castway, yes. I would bet these dates are off by a day for this year.

It was from the RunDisney website. Seen by going to the Marathon Weekend under Events and clicking on any event. The link no longer takes you there. Princess weekend was listed also. Dates, aside from the 2022 year, seem to match up to last year's dates, so off by a day, most likely. I guess...
