Interesting. Is that why the Marriott hotels are some of the only hotels in Waikiki for which you don't have to dig around for 30 minutes to determine all of the high tack-on fees?

I haven't been here in over a month because I really have nothing to add and after over 40 years of regularly going to Disneyland and WDW, I'm kind of over anything related to WDW or the parent company at this point. Came in to see the scuttlebutt here because WDW related content still pops up...

1) Have you used their toilet paper? 🤣 I don't know where they sourced 0.10 ply toilet paper, but hats off to them. And to the manufacturer for mass producing sheets of paper at a near quantum scale. 2) What's this about special imprinted Grand Floridian toilet paper?

Every time I see an image or footage of what they did with the Contemporary and Polynesian rooms, I can't help but laugh. It's a mournful laugh, but still a deep belly laugh.

Just watched Adam the Woo's recap. The corporate drone on stage announces that a highly anticipated ride that was supposed to open, like now, is delayed until 2023..... and the crowd full of pixie dusters erupts in cheers. 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 😂

That's the EPCOT fireworks show, right? Are they getting rid of the startgate and tacos? If so, good. Meh. The whole sudden hatbox ghost furor always seemed to be one of corporate's early and successes in engineering an "influencer" campaign to generate demand for merchandise.

Wow, this is some really crappy news. Thematically, I agree. But Modern Disneyco's ability to pull it off well is... suspect. My crystal ball says "1.5 rides and a meet and greet pavilion." And tons of landfill-bound synthetic stuffed animals, keychains, plastic commemorative popcorn buckets...

I wonder if they'll stick a giant "40" roundel on Spaceship Earth like they did at Magic Kingdom's castle. Because otherwise, you'd never know there was a notable anniversary going on.

Fingers crossed that for guest safety Disneyco will now remove that show... and thus remove the stargate and hulking taco barges.
