I think the idea is the brakes will only be used in an emergency stop? Otherwise the ride will operate as normal. Thats the way I read the post anyway!

I think he is just trying to explain that the gradient of the 'drop' or downward section, changes as you are on it, like gentle slope to big slope in one movement, but technically dropping in both. If that makes sense :D

Tbh, even if they did announce rehabs 6 months in advance, they would still be at the same times. If you go in low season its a price you pay, ofcourse you are also saving money.

Well, I think a new show is always a great idea, and tbh I could see 'Cinemagique' from Disneyland Paris fitting VERY well into the Studios, but obviously a more American version! Not that this would be so great for me since I have seen it, and I want to return to Paris for a unique experience...

Here in the UK we pay around £0.85 per litre (or so), thats $1.52 per litre, or around $6.85 dollars per gallon (if i converted it properly!). So to us all of your gas is cheap! But well done Hess @ WDW anyway!

All the time! I quite often get specific Disney smells, such as mainstreet ice cream parlour, but mostly if its humid here, I just get the smell and feel of Florida! Today in my thermodynamics lecture I got the smell of an airport! Took me right back to thinking of my holidays!

I'm thinking maybe Seacabs will act in a similar way to the hydrolaters, you start on 'dry' land and then descend to SeaBase Alpha. It would then still form an 'illusion' of sorts but also streamline guest flow.
