What are your "waiting in line" pet peeves?

Preach! As a parent, nothing drives me more crazy than seeing kids doing stuff like that. It's not that hard to keep your kids under control. I knew I was doing a good job with my kids during our first trip in 2012 when there were some kids climbing all over something in a line and my oldest...

    Be Our guest dinner length

I would assume it has to do with clearing the tables and getting more people in. If Beast is going table to table, there might be people waiting long after they finished their meal for the experience. The way it is, even if the wait is similar, the table is available for the next paying...

    Be Our guest dinner length

Meeting the Beast can be hit or miss. Sometimes we get lucky and finish our meals right when he is getting to the greeting area, so we just wait in a small line and are on our way. Another time we were in line for a whole cycle. We always make sure that we don't plan anything for 2 hours after...

Portobello at DS - be honest!

Went last year and loved it. Had great service, enjoyed the food, and thought that the variety was nice since we have picky kids. Would be going again next year if we had more time, just ran out of restaurants.

What are your "waiting in line" pet peeves?

YES! I am not in line to have a conversation with you, especially if I am there with my family.

    Question about Beach Club

We stayed there twice, in garden views, and both times we were in a room in the building all the way at the end of the resort right by the entrance to International Gateway. It was so easy and amazing to get to Epcot. The only downside was how long it took to get to the store or the lobby, but...

    Chef art smiths homecoming :)

Can we please stop opening restaurants with that whole "long bench seat on one side, regular chairs on another with a table in between" thing? I abhor any restaurant that tries to seat me there. If I wanted to share my meal with strangers, I would invite random people to dinner. Sorry.

    Caribbean Beach; TV/WiFi/Amazon Fire Stick

I want to say yes, but do not quote me on that.

    Caribbean Beach; TV/WiFi/Amazon Fire Stick

I would make other plans, because I have found that trying to stream anything on any device at the resorts is a hopeless endeavor. I've tried watching Netflix, Vudu, WWE Network, NJPW World and NBC Sports on my tablet in the past and aside from some minimal success with the WWE Network, it...

    Biggest Disney Pet Peeve

THIS!! We had a stomach thing tear through our room a few years ago, and puking into the bushes at the bust stop at the Magic Kingdom is about the worst thing ever. I felt like such a degenerate, even though I was sick. And then my son got sick that night and my wife the whole next day. Only my...

Can someone take a look at my ADRs and tell me if I'm making a wrong choice

This. I know that I could probably eat cheaper without it, but it's easier just to budget it in to the cost of my trip and then eat whatever I want and not have to worry about it at all.

What are your "waiting in line" pet peeves?

Cast members complaining about their jobs is number one, but that's not just at WDW. I hate going ANYWHERE where I have to hear people complain about their jobs. It's just completely unprofessional. I was at a restaurant once, and they sat us near one of the drink refill/cashier stations and I...

    Favourite Disney Lounges

River Roost when there is entertainment is AMAZING. Also, Crew's Cup was a nice spot to sneak in a quick drink.

POLL: Should Disney bring back Princess Jasmine's original costume and ban contact with guests?

I don't really care one way or the other, but my 12 year old son will be VERY disappointed.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Refurb in October?

AK is a park that if you REALLY love animals, you can get an almost full day out of. My kids used to really be into animals, so we would do all the walkways and animal shows and everything, and we would still be done long before closing.

Disney PhotoPass / Memory Maker PhotoPass question:

It really is a great service. We've used it twice, and will be using it a third time in April, and the ability to get everyone in a picture without having to flag down a stranger to take my picture is worth it!

Disney got my money for the last time

I don't understand what Disney should have done to "properly compensate this situation" anyways. The fireworks were never going to be an option for the OP on this night even if the right time had been given, because they were only being shown to people who bought the extra ticket.

Disney got my money for the last time

I get your point, but they couldn't have done that much research if they didn't know that the Thursday evening fireworks were part of a ticketed event. I do feel for the OP, but stories like this are the reason I NEVER ask for help from a concierge. Too much risk for human error, which it seems...
