I do agree that it's a strange answer to that question. Either the question asked was phrased differently that presented on twitter, or he was waiting to shoehorn that phrase wherever it was marginally relevant.

Each day's hours come out 6 weeks in advance. I have it marked in my planning notes when 6 weeks is for the first day of our trip :) In the meantime, I've been checking out April's hours, since I figure mid to late April will have similar hours as early May.

It doesn't help the OP, but I was able to book a 1BR at 7 months for early May of this year. It's only a 4 night stay, which may have helped with availability. I was online early the morning our window opened to book it.

For most cruises, 75 days in advance is the final payment deadline. 90 days comes into play if you're Castaway Club members and want to book excursions and activities early. You can pay earlier, doubt the TA would turn you down ;)
