It just feels disrespectful to me, I love WDW, but Progress City was so much more than WDW will ever be, to not even mention it irritates me.

Uhhh…? Walt died believing Progress City would be built, he had no intention of building Disney World the way it turned out. in Roy’s defense he did try to convince the board but they didn’t see it as a smart decision financially

I just felt like pointing out to anyone still on this thread that during Iger's speech during this celebration he said something along the lines of "Walt passed away before he could see Disney World come to fruition, but his brother Roy made sure to fulfill his dream for Walt Disney World." So...

I was today years old when I realized Barbossa is spelled with two S's. Sorry everybody LOL.

How old is this kid? 6? Should a 6 year old have a phone? Stopping to take a picture of a statue...? Disney concept art never fails to amaze me. Like, you don't actually see men in Tuxedos at strutting around Epcot...

Pretty much same here... I love Barbosa as a character but original Disney's hard to pass up!

I have nothing against the original attraction, but personally I like the film additions - they felt really natural, especially Barbosa, and I'm a fan of his character as well, so it's a win-win!
