What's up with WDW Magic Kingdom these days?

Wll with 70,000 employees at WDW and 30,000 at DL getting a rude one is not far fetched. I have been at WDW a few hundred times and have never run into a Grumpy CM. I have seen many Dopey guests who do not know how the Dining plan works, but have seen CMs explain it I have seen guests who do...

Epcot vs. EPCOT Center: YOU Decide!

EPCOT or EPCOT Center is not even close to what Walt envisioned. EPCOT does not have people working and living in it as Walt first envisioned. There was no countries as there is now........................So you may want the original name but the original name has NO relation to what is...

Could Disney treat Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake with Chloramine?

I have seen gators in the ponds along the entrance roads to the park and trust me they are in every body of water in Florida. Infinity pool NO gators will get in them and why an infinity pool when there are pools already in place. Amoebas you do know are in every body of water. A young boy just...

Bad, But Funny Things At WDW

Bad can be funny... On the monorail one day with WDW two supervisors. They were talking about the MK parking lot and how the parking attendants on their last day had all the red cars go to the same parking lot. So the supervisor saw this and stopped them. But the damage was...

    What is Disney to do?

Hate o say this but I read many of the posts on the web site mentioned and it seemed more about the adults inconvience and not the disabled persons. I had to use an EVC once and yes we went in the side door to HM and others but still waited in a line to get on the ride. Much shorter but still a...

    How intense is RnRC?

Gee maybe if you read it you'd see that it was saying without all the words the coasters at WDW are not that intense

    How intense is RnRC?

I do not do Roller coasters but will do RnRc. You do not realize you are upside down and I believe it is because it is in the dark. I will do Mt E but hate the backwards thing.

    Passholder moving question

When you have an AP as a FL resident I have never seen them check ID when you go to the park. Thus you have an AP and you go. It is just the index finger print. With the new wrist band I do not know how that works.

Really wet MK 8/18 with power outages

HEY AT LEAST IT WAS A BOLT OF LIGHTNING. LAST WEEK AT UNIVERSAL THEY HAD POWER OUTAGES THAT HAD NO LIGHTNING OR RAIN. THE AC IN MOST AREAS SUKED. I BELIEVE IT WAS JUST TOO HOT FOR UP TO ABSORB THE USAGE UNLIKE DISNEY I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY HAVE THEIR OWN ELECTRICAL SUB STATION ON SITE.

California girl's first trip to Disney World and Florida...

As I read your stay it is the 7th to the 17th I hope travel days are not included. If they are not you are spending 5 of the 10 at places other than WDW. If they are you really only have 8 full days and have only 3 days for WDW. I will go by the 10 days including the travel days thus only 8 full...

    Downtown Disney Parking

More people using buses and other WDW transportation should help. Not only that but the slower time is coming up after September 15th.

Possible IRS Troubles Ahead for WDW/RCID

If the IRS comes looking for more money than they already get they mayscrew themselves. Story Howard Hughes owned Hughes aircraft in Tucson. When the local Tax man came for more. Hughes sold the land to the USAF and eliminated most if not all his tax obligations. WDW has smart tax people they...

Most of the remaining old style MK turnstiles removed

As for sneaking into the park. You do know there are cameras every where in Disney, there are security folks who look like tourists, your every move is under security. Had a nephew in uniformed security there (WDW) and he said there is nothing unseen at Disney.

Possible IRS Troubles Ahead for WDW/RCID

Disney must comply with the standards set by the State and county. They can only make them tougher. They must adhere to ADA, Florida Hurricane standards which change on a yearly basis and other similar mandates or building regulations As for the process what they did was to circumvent the...

    Is early August worth it?

Do the water parks something not you do in January and get there early. You can also go to DTD and enjoy bowling, Circe du Solie (sp), Disney Quest, or even a movie I live in FL. and it will be hot and humid especially standing in lines at the parks. If this the only time you can go absolutely...

Poll: What do you think the '15 EC mystery project is?

go right ahead but just remember all the countries are currently run by the countries with WDW. Employees are residents of the countries and were built in many cases with the countries architectures and designers. If I remember correctly one of the countries sent their gov'ts head designer.

Poll: What do you think the '15 EC mystery project is?

NEW COUNTRY OR COUNTRIES WOULD BE GREAT BUT YOU NEED THOSE COUNTRIES TO DO IT. IF WDW DOES WITHOUT THE COUNTRIES COOPERATION YOU WILL NOT GET THE APPROPRIATE ATMOSPHERE ESPECIALLY WITHOUT THE CITIZENS OF THAT COUNTRY BEING THERE.
