    Whispering Canyon review

Great place - I liked the old menu though. The new one - meh. Of course that doesn't stop me from getting seconds on anything :P

When the meal is great but the server isn't...do you ever go back?

Once is an aberration. Twice (same place, same service) - hmmmm. Could be indicative of an environment of bad service. Might want to think going back a third time. That said, there is a place local to where I live (semi-national chain) that consistently has poor service no matter which...

What Kind of experience do you expect when you go to Disney

Always. You can put a big 'ditto' next to just about every other answer here for me and absolutely does Disney live up to my expectations. Has it been perfect all the time? No. But I realize that CMs are human, and the rare negative experiences make me appreciate the positive ones all the...

    US-192 Memories, Sucess, and Failure

My wife and I stayed on I-drive in 1992, and I thought it was so touristy - in a good way. Yeah it was tourist trap stuff, but we loved going through the seashell store (and seeing how many things they could make out of sea shells), and all the other trap stores (and dealing with the ticket...

Should Epcot introduce the nations before Reflections of Earth

I like how they do the 'roll call' of seasonal greetings during the Holiday add-on. They go around the lagoon, light up each country while you hear representatives of the country wish happy holidays.

WDW Nov. 30th looking for good things to do for 24-26 year olds.

If you want to do some drinking - you have to go to Epcot and attempt to drink around the World. Even if you don't complete the attempt (11 countries and above average prices on drinks), you can easily have a blast touring World Showcase. Disney Springs (nee Downtown Disney) has some great...

    Flights from Boston/Providence Area

Southwest lets families board in between A & B groups. Delta has only one non-stop per day between MCO and BOS. I prefer BOS due to familiarity (I used to travel for business) and ease of getting there (my MIL lives 10 minutes from Braintree Logan Express). But I agree Green is a friendlier...

    Disney Transportation or my own?

My .02 - I get a rental car, but use the busses for park and DTD transportation. We travel to other resorts for dinners, and we do venture off property for some shopping, plus I like the freedom of knowing I could use the car when I needed it. BUT - I like the convenience of not having to worry...

    Alamo/name on credit card

You should be ok. Chances are you will also have to show your driver's license. The license and confirmation match up, and they will be running the card for a hold when you check out. I am also sure that Alamo sees this type of thing all the time.

O' Canada vs. Reflections of China

I actually like some of the Martin Short humor, but I think they may have inserted him just a bit too much. As beautiful as Canada is, I just like the China film better. But I like France most of all - simply because of its score.

Itinerary Cards ... What do you think?

LOL - I never noticed that - was wondering why someone would go to so much trouble - even though they were nice. Great moments in d'oh!!! :banghead:

Itinerary Cards ... What do you think?

Very impressive. And something I might want to attempt if I had more time - which I don't :(. I used to use index cards in the days before smart phones. Now I just use MDE to keep track of everything. Or I'll use my phone's notebook app.

Making the leap to Moderate Resorts -- Advice

CBR is a beautiful resort. Yes, it is big and spread out. But that also means that you never feel like people are all over you. I have stayed there at the height of Pop Warner with millions of cheerleaders and never felt crowded (well, except by the pool). The theming is magnificent. Food court...

    Pop Warner

The cheerleaders (and maybe 1 or 2 football teams) use CBR. It is quite the sight seeing little platoons of identically dressed tweens walking around.

Change of refurbishment dates for Blizzard Beach

Huh. Must not have been paying attention.

Change of refurbishment dates for Blizzard Beach

When did they reverse it? Typhoon was always closed in December and Blizzard in January. No biggie to me, just curious why the schedule change.
