Realistically, How Much Time Does Matterhorn Have Left?

I wonder where this notion came from? It's essentially a decorative building. Aside from local zoning and code restrictions, I would think it could easily retain the same base to height ratio. (As an amusement ride example, TOT was a relatively recent build, and it didn't require a wide base.)

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Maybe related, maybe not, but keep in mind the area in yellow will likely always (at least my lifetime) need to remain open for maintenance / emergency access to the main power transmission lines. It's probably okay to utilize it as the primary backstage route, as long as it remains open and...

Fine point. I'm too lazy to look for current pictures, but how is Remy's in EPCOT handled? (Isn't it similarly tucked back around/behind existing structures?)

Long live the Eastern Gateway or how I learned to love the Anaheim City Council after the election.

You may or may not be thinking of the warehouse on the other side of the 5 freeway, but yes, it's good that they have options with USCIS building now.

Weather it be in/near the ride queue, or the Santa Cecilia village area, they need to squeeze in a spot for that Mission Tortilla video. Maseca!

Thanks for this visualization. I had to go back and re-read that blog post, but it does specifically call out "a portion of what is currently the Manchester cast member parking lot" as opposed to the old Pumba-based plan. I hope we get to see sooner than later what the configuration will really...

Per the L.A. Times on Jan 31: "Burbank-based Walt Disney Co. acquired a two-building warehouse in Anaheim near Disneyland for $124 million, or $305 per square foot. The company was a tenant at the property located at 1501-1601 E. Cerritos Ave. where it stored equipment, seasonal items and...
