News Zootopia and Moana Blue Sky concepts for Disney's Animal Kingdom

agree with you...I get it. It would definitely be riskier Btw I have not seen those shows or done the Starcruiser (going back to WDW in 2023 in some time). Like I said I don't have any interest left in Marvel. I realize I may be an outsider on that. Just where I'm at.

News Zootopia and Moana Blue Sky concepts for Disney's Animal Kingdom

Just saying they used to do it. The fact that they spend what they do on their rides has been questioned and debated on this forum forever. The dollars are ridiculous. Maybe the difference is back in the day, they did not have the competition they have now- they can't afford a flop. That...

News Zootopia and Moana Blue Sky concepts for Disney's Animal Kingdom

I find it very uncreative that they don't create NEW IP in the parks and let the creativity flow the other way to movies, merchandise etc. They used to do this (i.e. Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain etc.). Everyone already knows the major IP they are jamming in the parks now. There's...

Josh D'Amaro comments on rising prices and "additional" or removed services: "An inevitable result of progress"

I'm not suggesting they shouldn't monetize parking or add a resort fee. They are a business and need to maximize profits...in theory. Unfortunately we live in a society where businesses like Disney are slaves to the shareholders. I agree with many others here...why does Disney have to follow...

Revenge Vacation: Only Actual Data Need Apply

If we are only comparing the actual numbers PRE-pandemic to now then staffing and supply chain issues don't matter. I agree it is a huge problem (in Toronto the waits are CRAZY in security and check-in). That being said if we are still below the actual numbers pre-pandemic then numbers are...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Most of your deaths happened BEFORE the vaccines. EVERYONE was unvaxxed. Granted, the US has done a crappy job since then just not AS bad....thanks to vaccines.

830k+ dead in less than 2 years vs. Under 31k. Your opinion is meaningless.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Once again thanks for the US perspective. 830K+ dead in less than 2 years vs. 30K+ (based on population you should be at approximately 300K). I'm not arguing Ontario or Canada is doing everything right and I certainly don't agree with everything but the US has no grounds to scoff at other...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

[QUOTE="DisneyCane, post: 10110780, member: It's the price to be paid for the other 333 million people to not lose 2 years of their lives. Also, Canada is not at zero deaths either. It's about 1/3 adjusted for population and there are other variables besides mitigation that factor into the...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Look at.your numbers. Are you saying 830,000+ recorded deaths (not including excess mortality numbers). Is just the price to be paid for freedom?

The point is you guys gave up right out of the gate. The numbers tell the entire story.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I don't think anyone in the US should be lecturing other regions on their COVID response or numbers. The US is, and continues to be, a disaster due to stupid attitudes and the political nature of their approach to COVID. Yes, Ontario is struggling like everyone else right now- No one will...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Yup...keep resisting. The US has been out of control with infections since March 2020 with more infections than the vast majority. It's resulted in over 800k RECORDED deaths and counting. Great job! Obviously vaccines and masking are not the complete answer right now but the dumb attitude...
