Is Rainforest only for those who have had spa services?

Just a tip... If anyone is looking for a cheap-o spa treatment that is fantastic, check out the "Frangipani Scalp Treatment". It cannot be booked in advanced, and isn't listen on any spa menus, you have to just ask for it. Last I checked it was about $40 for the treatment. It takes place in the...

    anything we forgot?

Don't worry! They make it easy for you to relax. I find most relaxing those small moments in between activities. Like when everyone is dressed and ready for dinner, but it's not time to go to the dining room yet. Go to the Promendade Louge and relax with a drink and some nachos while the kids...

    Our First Disney Cruise...

How exciting! I too am an over-planner, so I can totally relate! DCL trips are especially fun to plan for. I love researching excursions, spa treatments, activities, even what movies are playing and the dining room menus! Everyone here seems happy to share experiences and answer questions, so...

    Your thought about Tutto?

Their strip is actually really delicious, but they also have a tasty seafood pasta a d their scallops were wonderful. My husband liked their pork chop. Good desserts too! The s'mores tart is delish!

    Your thought about Tutto?

Exactly, Jeff! In fact, I h r found some of our new favorites by trying places we hadn't been before, like dinner at Captain's Grille, breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and dinner at Boatwrights!

    First Disney Cruise

How exciting! My husband and I met on DCL, married on a DCL cruise two years later, and have celebrated most anniversaries on DCL or at WDW. You will love it and your son will loose his mind on the Fantasy! So much to see and do! The Oceaneers club on the two newer ships is even more impressive...

    Newbie with questions

I agree with Pam. If you do the five, you're going to wish you had a couple more nights, plus the Fantasy is just incredible. You NEED the extra couple nights to do all the cool stuff on the ship! Enjoy!!!

    Bahamas... First week of October???

Last time I sailed a Bahamian cruise in the fall we had hot temps and clear skies. We had one rainy afternoon at sea, but that was it. Of course being hurricane season, you never know, so I'd recommend making sure you have the trip insurance, but I wouldn't let "hurricane season" dissuade you...

    Dcl transport to port question

You had me questioning my sanity there! (Which, lets face it, isn't entirely in tact these days!) I swore that back in the day when I wore my lovely blue DCL blazer, I frequently had to have my guests at the bus at 11, and sometimes earlier. I checked with my old supervisor and the current...

    Dcl transport to port question

Unless there's been a recent change, resort pick ups start at 10am. You will find out the day before your embarkation day what time your assigned pick up is, but I always used to tell people to assume you'd get the earliest one, just to be sure. It never seemed to fail that the people that were...

    Your thought about Tutto?

First time we went, right after it opened, we were not impressed. Tried it a year later, because we were told it got better, and loved it! Sorry to say though that we ate there a year ago, and it was back to being disappointing. I guess the moral of the story is....It's inconsistent, which is...

    Disney Cruise FAQ's

We almost always cruise in September. We love it! Pricing is usually better since it's not as popular of a month for families, and it's hurricane season. The weather is still warm, if not, HOT and we rarely have run into rain. The ships have fantastic weather technology and are very good at...

    Alaskan Cruise???

Thanks, Pam! I could really use some help. I haven't really even looked into pricing and when I want to go yet. Is there still space for this summer? Does anyone have recommendations on when to go? Advantages or disadvantages of certain weeks? What about the itineraries? Should we do one of the...

    Disney Jr. Live on Stage

Consider doing lunch at Hollywood and Vine that day! The meal is buffet and the food is great! If you do lunch, it saves you some money over dinner, and your daughter will get to enjoy the company of Jake, Doc, Sofia and Manny! They even play songs from the shows, like "Talk Like a Pirate" from...

    Alaskan Cruise???

So I have been on 13 DCL cruises, but never on an Alaskan itinerary. (I've also never had to actually book one NOT as a Cast Member!) What is your opinion? I know people love the Alaskan cruises, but to me, vacation is sunshine, tropical breezes and pina coladas. Will I be able to get that out...

What are some "insider tips" about DCL?

On the Wonder, because of the Alaskan itineraries, the entire Cove coffee shop is glassed in. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit within, plus it is air conditioned and the fact that those on the outside can't see in very well makes it the ultimate people watching paradise!
