Major Room Discounts Coming for Early Summer and Late Spring 2025

The DVC AP pass or the non DVC one (which is quite a bit higher). It seems unless someone is going 3+ times a year, their highest tier pass doesn’t make much sense (that’s the only one non FL residents, non DVC can buy)

Major Room Discounts Coming for Early Summer and Late Spring 2025

So any rumors on what the room discount percentages will be and for what dates? I’m looking at end of April into early May. Sadly the current $200 offer wasn’t good as I got discounted tickets elsewhere. The other spring promo only went through 4/30 so didn’t even cover half my trip.

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I just wonder as I see people saying they need DAS because they can’t wait more than 10-20min but if they go to universal they may need to right? The guests who get disability passes there also go through the express lane with the regular express guests correct? But no one gets mad at...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

For Universal, at least the advertise it as “half the time of the regular line wait”. However, I’m guessing the whilst line was it has gone up a bit due to an influx of disability pass users, which in turn makes the express pass lane longer. I’ve not done universal in a long time. Are their...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Wow that’s amazing! Our trip 2yrs ago we had to skip or come back later for some of our DAS’s because the lines were out the queue and too long (which is the opposite of what DAS is supposed to be for). Hope it continues to be short and also helps standby to quicker!

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Sounds like it was written with info from the people on the shady disability fb page…. Probably the only people who were actually surveyed and all of them believe they, or anyone else who claims any sort of disability, are entitled to DAS.

Yep, this is what we do too! I can’t deal with the afternoon crowds and we all need a break to chill by then!

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Couldn’t you plan ahead of time and pre-book the LLs with LLMP? Wouldn’t that make it easier to coordinate with DAS knowing what ride you have planned when? Other than that I suggest going to early hours if you can, as lower crowds for the first few hours.

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Yes. Besides rides being down, I’ve only heard from people that BOTH standby and LL lines have been much shorter since the implementation of new DAS. The standby lines being shorter should also help some people who were previously on DAS and now no longer qualify.

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Yes, I think the expectation is too high of having extended family included on DAS. Again, that’s part of the reason the system was broken before. So if I go on a multi generational trip with my extended family of 16 people we should all get DAS so we can stay together? No. I think 4 is a...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I mean they are accommodating the DAS holder and helper. That’s really what is needed. The other 2 people (4 max) and just a nice extra. Why don’t you just buy LLMP for the extra people and coordinate ride times? Sorry but to me this seems as though your expectations are too high. Since most of...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I find at my home airport precheck doesn’t save much time, but it has always in MCO! Normally because I’m traveling with my child I don’t have to go through the body machine and follow him through the metal detector 😊. I always found it stressful to try to take stuff out of my bag then put it...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Sometimes the regular line is shorter! I still prefer not to have to take off my shoes or take out my bag of liquids and electronics!

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Pre-check is seriously the best! I’m totally fine paying for that every 5yrs. Makes air travel much less stressful for me

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

100%. All 3 of us in my party have some sort of medical issue. We usually go during less busy times, do early entry and leave around lunch, then go back after dinner. No way could we do open to close, no one would make it 🤪. That’s usually why we do longer trips because we need to visit the...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Personally, I have to take Xanax to fly and be a little “out of it”. This is something I don’t want to do (and shouldn’t) daily while at Disney. I do take it with me in case of an emergency, but while at Disney I try to avoid areas that put me into a panic (like Main Street during fireworks)...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

So what did you do in the past with DAS and the LL? Are you traveling alone then and don’t have someone who can wait for you? Maybe you can explain at the ride entrance to the CM that you have severe anxiety and cannot wait surrounded by people and request a return time to sit there and wait...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Dude, what are you talking about? Even with DAS you had to wait in a queue, it was just shorter, but many times could still be around 20min surrounded by strangers. I’m trying to help you think of options and alternatives to DAS. I also have a severe anxiety/panic attacks, which is why I was...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

The CMs are not diagnosing people. You are explaining WHY you can’t wait in a traditional queue. Not to sound mean, but how is the LL queue any different for your needs? Many times you will still be packed in with people on both sides of you unable to see the exit. How do you deal in other...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Me too! Always jealous of the calm kiddos. Mine would try to run away, climb up anything he could find, or scream bloody murder if you tried to hold his hand or even hold him 🤪. I remember laughing at the little backpack leashes, until I had to use one on my kid to keep him safe without him...
