Have been many times and the only ride that hasn't yet been conquered is Tron. We will also be there for an entire week so maximizing park time is not a priority this go round. Just speaking for us personally obviously.
Anyway you look at it Disney "could" have engineered a solution to this "if" they really wanted to. A simple crosswalk with a traffic light would have been sufficient. No need for a bridge or tunnel. Completely shutting it down regardless of the reason just looks bad on Disney's part.
Pretty sure DoD outright owns SoG now. It a was a long term lease initially I believe. So the only way WDW can force them out is to purchase the resort back.
Does anyone know the status of the renovations at All-Star Sports? Web site still shows rooms as having double beds vs the queen beds at Music and Movies.
Interesting to me that the steeper discounts are for the All-Stars and moderates as opposed to the Deluxe resorts. I am guessing they are not having any difficulties on attracting the clientele with money.
That figures. Youngest son is getting married on the 18th. Would have been nice to go. Had a blast at the Guardians preview. $50 is a good price for potentially 6 hours in MK.
Let me know when they book park reservations, dining reservations @ 60 days out and purchase Genie+ and ILL's like the other 99% of guests. Then I will be impressed. Until that happens I don't see much changing.
Also, did they park hop before 2?
