Interesting Disney Parks Survey Question I got Today - Tiered Ticket Pricing by Season

One of the greatest thing I love about Walt Disney is that it appeared he saw no value in money. Yes he needed money to make all of his creative dreams comes true, though that's where he placed his priority, his dreams. Roy Disney was known for keeping the books, while Walt was known for...

Removal of Main Street Christmas Wreaths Due to New Parade

Just got back from Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party last night... And I've got to say, the wreaths looked GREAT! I was worried based on the pictures that they would lose some impact being placed on the side of Main Street rather than strung through the middle, but they still had a great...

Removal of Main Street Christmas Wreaths Due to New Parade

Is it my understanding that the old wreaths will return once The Festvial of Fantasy parade retires and that this new wreath set up is merely temporary? This can't be the first time Magic Kingdom has used tall floats before, can it? I remember the Full House Disney World episode featuring some...

Disney Quest to host a Halloween Party

The NYE party was a blast and well worth the price of admission! I may have to work on Halloween, but if not then my family and I will definitely be there! I'd recommend it to anyone!

Dreams Come Alive and MSEP rebuild

I'm really excited to hear about a new fireworks show at Magic Kingdom... But I have to agree with the others who have voiced their disappointment with the possibility of the Christmas garland going away. It's a small detail that makes a major impact! It reminds me of the poor Castle Hub...

    Disney Quest?

I'm a big fan of Disney Quest and have been there a couple of times over the years. Whenever I've gone it's always been packed, even during the slow times of the year. The last time I've been there was New Year's Eve in 2011 in a sold-out packed building and had an absolute blast! However, I...

Phase closing and wait times - holidays 2012

Thank you so much for posting! I love seeing photos like that... It really is jaw dropping to see that many people! And it appears that the pic is of the entrance... Could just imagine how the inside of the park looks.

Phase closing and wait times - holidays 2012

We went to Disney Quest's New Year's Eve party last year and had a total blast! It was definitely worth the price of admission and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone! Unfortunately, we can't make it again this year but hopefully we'll get another chance to go next year.

Wow, does anybody have any pictures they can share from their vacation this week? I'd love to see them

MK Walls down - Fantasyland soft opening status

Is the new Fantasyland open to visitors on a day-by-day basis? Will it be open for tomorrow's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party? If the entire area is not accessible to guests, will portions of the new land still be operating such as Gaston's Tavern?

Twinkle Lights Returning to Hub in MK

I'm ecstatic to hear this news!!! It really is the little things that makes Disney so special, and it appears like I was far from alone in missing seeing those lights twinkle every night. I still think Disney made a major mistake with Magic Kingdom's castle hub by removing all those...

Disney Animation getting out of the "Princess" business

"Tangled" did turn out to be one of Disney's best movies the studio has put out in a very long time. The movie was amazing and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a classic. Early estimates for the movie's box-office are ahead of predictions... If you're on the fence on going out to...

Disney Animation getting out of the "Princess" business

My thoughts exactly... Maybe if "The Princess and the Frog" had been on the same level as far as quality goes, then Disney would have had another animated blockbuster on their hands last year. The musical aspect of "The Princess and the Frog" was also disappointing... Although...

Attendence falls at WDW per lastest earnings release...

Unless you know millions, thousands, or even hundreds of families who skip Disney and just visit HP... Your statement is pretty much pointless. 5% of 300 million is only 15 million. The Magic Kingdom park alone brings in 17 million visitors. Why are you trying to compare theme park...

Ticket Prices going up on August 5th.

I love WDW but this is really getting to be too much... And as much as I love WDW, it is not worth $83 a day. I could understand a price hike if it were justified by Disney providing new services/improvements; but it seems like all they've done for the past year or so is make cutbacks...

    AMC ETX (IMAX) now open

Thanks for the head's up. I kind of figured that an AMC theater would be too small to fit a true IMAX theater; especially one that's located in a mall. Has anybody seen Avatar in true IMAX 3D? Is it really worth the extra $$ and time to get to the theater?

    AMC ETX (IMAX) now open

I had no idea that AMC/IMAX could advertise certain theaters as being IMAX without having the gigantic movie screen size that everybody associates the brand name with to match... I was thinking about going out of my way to go and see Avatar in an AMC theater (Altamonte Springs, Florida), but...
