Crowd levels the week after Gay Days?

My family was @ WDW for 10 day last year with Gay Days occuring in the middle of our stay - and it did not seem that there was any kind of spike in crowds on those days. I did look at the Gay Days designated park each and planned to be in a different park on those days to avoid any spike in...

Which rides only seat two people at the Magic Kingdom?

They never let us sit 4 at HM (2 adults, 1 five y/o, 1 infant)...we ask everytime and they always make us split 2/2

    a/p dining

Ok - just for anyone in the future that has the same questions I had and stumbles upon this thread: I ran the numbers and with the list of tables service meals listed above (minus Tusker - going to cancel that one) - TiWL is the clear winner. It would cost over $900 for the 3 of us to get DDP...

    a/p dining

We have Tusker House b'fast, Sci-Fi lunch, Crystal Palace b'fast, BoG dinner, Hoop-De-Doo (not late show so TiWL won't help unless we change), 1900 b'fast, and 'Ohana. I haven't really done the math....TiWL may be the way to go (2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant)

    a/p dining

Thanks. I booked using the A/P discount - but have not decided yet whether to do DDP or use our TiWL card and are coming up on 45 days. So you think as long as I add it about 10 days out, I should be fine?

    a/p dining

If I book a room only reservation using my annual pass, can I add the dining plan at any point up to my stay, or does dining have to be booked when I book the room?

AoA Mermaid or CBR...help me decide!!!

OK - so they are only discounting the Royal Rooms with this offer...I went ahead and booked the Royal Rooms (it was $600 less than booking a regular room w/o the discount). I have 2 boys...how "princessy" are these room? From the pictures, it doesn't look like overkill...but now I'm thinking I...

AoA Mermaid or CBR...help me decide!!!

Thanks again everyone for the info. Disney just released A/P rates for my dates this morning and I'm on hold now to switch to PORS!!!

AoA Mermaid or CBR...help me decide!!!

Thanks everyone! I've never really considered PORS - but it's looking like a good option. 2 boys so I know we don't want a princess room. How is the pool there? My 5 y/o loved the pool at CBR...

AoA Mermaid or CBR...help me decide!!!

Do you think a/p rates for that time period will be released soon so I could get the room deal and DDP for one of the moderates?

AoA Mermaid or CBR...help me decide!!!

Can get pretty much the same deal at PORS or CS. Of those two which do you like the best?

AoA Mermaid or CBR...help me decide!!!

@ stich - We have done all the values before (except Music) - our last trip was the first trip at a moderate and I don't ever think we'll go back to an All-Stars or POP.....I've read reviews saying that the AoA feels more like a moderate (maybe since it is new). We have 2 boys ages 5 & 2 so I...

    New Disney Bus Paint Scheme

I like it! Much better than the current design.

AoA Mermaid or CBR...help me decide!!!

Here's the situation... I have booked AoA for the first week of April (A/P w/ dining). I booked before any discounts were given, so I'm paying close to rack rate. We stayed at CBR over New Year's and really liked it. I can now book CBR at a discounted rate and will be paying close to the...

    Any drawbacks to online check-in?

I was cursing myself for not doing the online check in while waiting in the long line at CBR at the first of this month...however, when I finally made it to check in I was given a Water View Pirate Room. So it was worth it to wait the extra 10 minutes. My 2 boys loved the room.

Spring Break, how bad is it?

Our first Spring Break trip was in 2009 - then again in 2010 and 2011. This past year we skipped over spring break to try end of May since school let out before Memorial Day. Spring Break 2009 was the lowest crowds and then each year it seemed to be more crowded than the previous. Not sure if...

    NEED HELP!!!!

I still haven't found any CS worth eating at HS. We stick to Pizza Planet for the kids and fill in the rest of the day at Starring Rolls. Is 3 red velvet cupcakes in one day too many???

Spring Break, how bad is it?

Same here. We tried the end of May last year after going for the previous couple of years at Spring Break (wife is a teacher). Would definitely take the cooler weather/heavier crowds of sb over the hotter weather/somewhat lighter crowds of late may.

Must See Holiday Decorations in the World?

We decided yesterday to go down Jan 2 - 5 for a short trip. I know Osborne will still be running...does anyone know if all of the other decorations will be up, or do they start coming down right after New Year's Day? We especially want to see the castle Christmas lights and deluxe resorts.

    2013 discounts

Hope this is true! Going the first week of April and having a hard time stomaching the rack rates, but don't want to go off-site. If they don't offer any discounts, this will be the first time we have gone and paid full rates.
