if i recall from casting or the "disney look" book given to cm's it explains all cm's including backstage, office, etc, all must follow the guidelines there are no exceptions.

gosh the last minute announcement is like the haunted mansion last year. what did we have mayb a month or 2 notice? keep in mind all attractions & shows operation is subject to change without notice.:wave:

guess it is mickey just takin away a little something, always thought mid nov was kinda early anyway. the first year or 2 of the lights didnt they start around thanksgiving anyawy?

i think my fave item is this really awesome jacket from disneyland from the farewell season of THE MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE in 96. it has some awesome pix of some of the floats, just sux its to hot to wear in fl most of the year...:hammer:

i watched an old video of the mickey mouse review which was where the philharmagic is now. the current show seems like a very updated version of the orignal show mickey mouse review form 71. anyone else agree?

:eek:i can think of a couple incidnets at dlr, one in the late 80's i belive, 86 or 87 perhaps. a fire in the backstage parade storage area, & one in the first years of disneyalnd when the christmas tree wasnt fireproofed yet & it burnt. not to mention the famous wdw monorail fire in 86.:eek:

msep premiered at wdw on june 11, 1977 left sept 14, 91. spectro premiered oct 1, 91 as part of the 20th anniversary celebration. :(

i honestly dont see dhs doing a fireworks show again during regular park hours except new years & july 4th. i was a cm at dhs in 92, large parts of backstage areas as well has almost the back half of the park including the courtyard at gmr had to close during the show, at least 30 min before to...

the only problem with expansion is the potential for down times such as during the summer when lightning strikes a train or the beam. can be down anywhere from a few minutes to hours...

i have to say my MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE items, i have all 3 of the farewell pins from wdw in 2001, i think all of the pins when it went back to dca, along with the farewell buttons, night light, shirt, pop corn buccket & nametag from 96 at disneyland

if i recall its just as you go in the entrance, on the left, if you go right you turn towards the restrooms.:rolleyes:
