While we've been to WDW a number of times, we took our first monorail trip last year. Was amazed at the small capacity. Went away with the feeling that monorails were one part attraction, one part boutique transportation system. Maybe 20 years ago when the parks were at far less average capacity...

Totally agree. Went with an open mind last year; should have suspected something when we were literally the only family on the boat around 4:30. Awful. The prior version of the ride was a little lame but the Three Amigos retread is something we'll never do again.

I always keep my old KTTW card in my wallet "for luck" until our next trip, and ceremonially take it out as we leave for the airport. Crazy, I know.

Some years ago Disney published (by "The Imagineers") a set of nice, pocket-sized "Field Guides" to each of the parks. Was looking through mine and wondered if Disney might have any plans to update these, or if they were a one-off type of thing. Anyone know?
