    Disney's Hollywood Studios 25th Anniversary?

I was waiting at the end. There was a hesitation where Eisner's name should have been. Every time I have heard the Epcot plaque read in a video Card Walker's name is always mentioned. Somebody doesn't want to give any credit to the last guy? Hmmmmmm........

You are correct but anybody born after 1980 probably had to do a Google search to see who he was. My point is that he is not shown nearly the amount of respect that he deserves and does not have nearly the same name recognition as the other great actors of his generation.

Max von Sydow is one of the most underrated actors of his generation. He can play nefarious like nobody else. Just odd to think of a SW film without James Earl Jones but obviously Vader is dead. I would love to have seen Billie Dee or Jeremy Bulloch listed. One can dream....sigh.

Spirit- you are spot on when you talk about how those who suddenly can stay at deluxes could go to Tokyo but they are afraid to leave the country. They are really afraid to leave their "Walmart comfort zone". How dare the people in Tokyo or Osaka or Kyoto not speak English fluently? Don't...

Nah. That gravy train ended when they retired Ronald McDonald. No interest there without the characters.

Thanks again Dave. I have a route mapped out back to Kiev and a really good travel agent who works well with the embassy here. Hopefully I can get everything finished before I have to flee. By the way, I have never mentioned it, but your avatar features my favorite album from my second...

Thanks. Not that I am aware of. Russia does not allow US adoptions and that is one of the reasons that I tried to swoop in and get out before anything else crazy happened. Honestly, other than Skyping my family, you guys are my only contact with the outside world right now!

Just for the record, this should not be anybody's idea of a Faux Top One Percent getaway. The checkpoint where they were searching buses for Russian agitators gave it away.

You know where it's easy to find a cheap hotel room? Ukraine. Where I am spending the next 6 weeks despite the State Dept telling me I shouldn't. Now, finding WiFi so I could actually get caught up on this thread took a little more searching. I took the sensible route and asked someone in...

Have you ever come across an Alligator on your Disney trip?

No. But several years ago I saw several members of maintenance entering a wooded area between Odyssey and the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot. They were armed with large nets and some stout metal truncheons. I have no doubt that there was an alligator amongst the reeds. You could hear them yelling...
