I don’t believe the original Puck report said that she was leaving Hollywood, just that she was leaving Lucasfilm sometime this year. Other articles mentioned her retiring but not Puck, but that didn’t stop the writer from slandering the reporter.

That article confirmed the report that she’s stepping down this year. What was the point of that outside of taking shots at the original reporter who reported on her stepping down earlier this week?

Bob Iger is also responsible for a lot of this. He’s the one who set the aggressive release schedule that meant multiple filmmakers would have to tackle the sequel trilogy instead of having one creative with one unified vision.
