I made ARs yesterday for a party of five. On Halloween, Le Cellier only had one slot open @ 4:15. This wasn't anywhere near the time I was aiming to get, but I took it anyhow. I wonder if booking would've been impossible if MNSSHP wasn't drawing guests to MK.

If you're eyes aren't set on going to breakfast in the parks, there is a wonderful character breakfast at the Grand Floridian (the only breakfast I've been to at WDW :D) . I wasn't really interested in hanging out with the Pooh characters, but the Mad Hatter on that day made up for it.

What time of the evening would it be wise to make a dinner reservation before Illuminations, Wishes, or Fantansic? The dinner would be in the same park as the show any given evening.
