We have reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at Jiko - anyone have any experience with that? Anyone have a better suggestion?

I think it was riding Big Thunder just as the fireworks were starting. I actually cried - I was just so happy at that moment.

Just recently one of those old amusement park that my mom went to when she was little, I went to, and even my daughter remembers fondly - closed. It was seedy and a little spooky, actually, but totally cool. Dinoland reminds us of that - we love it. It is kitschy and fun, imo.

Hey, I'm not embarrassed to admit that I enjoy a spa treatment on vacation once in awhile - and the GF spa is really good. My daughter and I get our nails done sometimes - :shrug: - it's your vacation. Spend your time however you want to! :)

The rules say that you don't have to be a mom or even a woman. I don't know why they say "mom's" panel, but I remember that not everyone that won last year was a mom. You should try! :)

Oh I really didn't realize! I know a board - are we allowed to mention other boards? Anyway, I know there were winners from that board. But it's a pretty big community. Was it the only one represented?

For me it's the music - I get pretty emotional with sentimental music. But that said, Wishes is just a fireworks show, but my oh my WHAT a fireworks show and it has pretty much ruined me for all other fireworks shows.

I really didn't care for it either but I think I am kind of holding a grudge because I got there an hour early and had to stand in that "standing room only pen" that kind of seems like a POW camp. I guess I should have gotten there 2 hours early? :shrug: I'm just not going to do that ever...

Just taking a brief look around roller coaster site that rate not just but including Disney rides, EE gets pretty high ratings. I get that you don't like it - I think Test Track is boring and I'm in the minority on that. But I think that EE is extremely well themed - my husband commented on...

Mine vary so much. Most of the time we fly but sometimes we drive, if we are stopping to visit my sister on the way or just want to see a little more of the south on the way down. The cheapest for us is when we have miles to use for airfare, which we do a lot of the time because my husband...

Your advice is good and I have one too. Save all things that you don't need a park ticket for for one day - and do downtown disney, resort character meals, kids' events like bbb, everything not in the parks all on that day so that you don't need a park pass for every day.

Did you ever misread a thread title and get a big shock? I thought this one said "Omelettes in bathrooms" and I was just very curious about why someone wondered that! :ROFLOL:
