That's a shame but I'm not surprised. I think it's the only sightline that is desperate to be addressed on the Skyliner.

I assume it has been talked about countless times, but I’m guessing the show building/backstage of the ride won’t change from how it is now? It looks awful from what I’ve seen from Skyliner videos.

Since 2006 the main body has been ever so slightly pink, yes (it was slightly blue before). The spires also changed slightly in colour too. An ideal colour scheme for me would be the original with some of the extra detailing the Tokyo castle has for ageing.

Definitely. They certainly used to care more about it. If they wanted to add some gold elements to the castle for the 50th, fine, but the way they’ve approached every aspect of this has been wrong. Subtlety was what was needed, not this. That’s an old photo with the colours altered.

Disgusting. The worst thing is I’m sure many people will like it which in Disney’s eyes will be an incentive to keep it. This is pretty much how I expected it to initially look. Not perfect, but a lot better than how it turned out.

I always assumed they’d add another layer on top to make it glisten like the art, but that’s not looking to be the case.
