What is the best 'diversion' act among WDW's 4 parks?

I'm a sucker for the Dapper Dans. We even watch them on youtube!

    On Property Transportation

Welcome to the boards big brother! I told him always allow an hour but thought some people might have more recent insight from POFQ to the parks.

Wow, i only read her opening post on the thread. Does it get better with her replies?

    Steakhouse?

We had a great steak dinner at the Turf Club. Very relaxed, not busy at all, easy to get dinner reservation at any time you want. A little off the beaten path at Saratoga Springs but a nice boat ride if you are staying at PO or POFQ. Believe Le Cellier is two credits and hard to get dining...

Think WDW would ever add a 5th Park directed at...

I have seen Katiebug reference twice lately, what in the heck does that refer to? Must have been pretty good.

News Disney's Animal Kingdom tests a new stroller parking system

I have to disagree with you. My son was 1 1/2 when he went to Disney world and was still in diapers. While the trip was mainly for me and my wife, my son really enjoyed it. Will he remember it, no. Do we have pictures to show him and can tlak about it with him, yes. Just because a child wont...

Trip Report **COMPLETED** The "Hey what's your name" and "I want to ride Home Depot" Trip Report

UUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH, i feel your pain on the play area. My son who was 1 1/2 at the time would not go near it. My DW and I so wanted to play but he hates to get water in his face.

I knew someone was going to say it!

    Favorite cancelled project/attraction?

Being from the St. Louis area I know a little bit about the project. It was going to be downtown and yes entirely inside. It never came to be apparently because Walt and Auggie Busch (head of Budweiser) butted heads. Auggie wanted beer in and Walt didn't. At least that is hear say.

    Being Drunk in the World

My problem isn't that I notice it, it is that my kids will notice it. The ages they are at they are like sponges. They soak everything up. Behavior, language, everything. My son particularity likes to sit back and watch rather than be a part of the action so we have to be mindful of what he...

Best sit down restaurant at Epcot for young children?

O I agree with you. The time we went it was about half full. I still think it was a fun experience. A full hall singing and dancing along would make for an even better one.

Best sit down restaurant at Epcot for young children?

Let me offer a different opinion. How about the Beer Garden (I know I know I didn't use the right spelling)? We took my 1 1/2 year old son and he loved it. I think the three year old would enjoy it as well. The other kids at our table seemed to like it as well. Being a buffet you can find...

Trip Report **COMPLETED** The "Hey what's your name" and "I want to ride Home Depot" Trip Report

Following Along, can't wait to hear about the tour as well. I hope to do that tour someday.

Which Disney hotel has the best water park?

I enjoyed the POFQ pool. It was big enough that you weren't crowded but small enough that kids could be seen all around. The activities seemed to be a big hit with the elementary aged kids. The new play area they added was pretty cool. My son didn't like it as there was a lot of water raining...

    Port Orleans - Your Thoughts

For your situation I can't recommend POFQ enough! It is small and very easy to navigate. In fact it is the smallest on property. My wife and I find it very romantic, even thought we had our DS with us (1 1/2). It also wasn't overrun with kids. Seemed to be a lot more adults. The only downside...

WDW "Never Have I Ever" Game.

Never have I ever been on the Tomorrowland Speedway. Hoping to do it with my son (3 1/2) next time around. He loves driving his gator powerwheels at Papa's house.

    Crazy idea for Blizzard Beach

The did include some Frozen themeing with the Winter/summer games. Low risk/cost for them and probably brought in a good amount of people who would of never went there otherwise.

Grrr, can't think up a dinner reservation on our Magic kingdom day.

If they are like me when I was there age Ohana would be the place for a nice big dinner! Maybe late afternoon early evening and then head back to the park to close it down.
