Something needs to change with MK close on non Party Nights

I have never seen them close off the resort monorail to non resort guests. We almost always would take it to the TTC. One of the best little tricks. The resorts guests alone aren't going to run that line at capacity for the full time the park is emptying out so why shut it off to TTC guests?

Does anyone NOT like Flight of Passage?

It is a good ride but I don't think it is the best thing ever. The pre show is good, the ride vehicle is pretty cool, and the graphics are really good. But give me a coaster any day over this. It also gives me a little motion sickness which doesn't usually happen to me on these types of rides.

Trip Report The Tuvalu Chronicles ~ Chapter 25 *COMPLETED*

We bought Dream Friend Minnie for our DD (2) when we had our big family trip back in July/Aug. She calls it Big Mimmie (her way of saying Minnie) because she has two or three other small plush Minne Mouses. Big Mimmie usually stays in her crib but sometimes she has to carry her all over the...

Rider Swap/Fast pass planning - 6 yr old and baby twins

Usually only one party needs the fastpass. I'd still do a rider swap on the higher demand attractions. That way if you get there a little late in your window you have the rider swap even if the other persons FP window expires. Or that person with the rider swap can ride twice!

Trip Report The Tuvalu Chronicles ~ Chapter 25 *COMPLETED*

MK but not until late. I think that is where we will be most of the day but not sure how long we will be there. With little ones and a drive back home we might be leaving about flag ceremony time. I'm wondering what it will be like in the morning with College Gameday there.

Wildest Ride at Animal Kingdom - the safari?

Baloo has always been a favorite. Always loved the Jungle Book and I was a young pup when Tailspin was on.

Wildest Ride at Animal Kingdom - the safari?

My confidence in Disney is actually higher than airlines. My dad worked for one for about 30 years and I know the type of crap that goes on there. Pre 9/11 we use to be able to go down with him and run around in the tugs, crawl inside airplanes etc. BTW. . . love your name.

Wildest Ride at Animal Kingdom - the safari?

Do they have a trainer that goes out with them on some of their first trips? If he was just that bad I can't imagine him getting past that stage. But the more and more I go over this in my mind I think he was inebriated or as someone said above was maybe having a medical issue. Perhaps he was...

Wildest Ride at Animal Kingdom - the safari?

I'd never even thought about a stroke/medical issue. Makes me feel bad, except the saftey of my children was my highest priority at the time. I have one who is five and another who is 2/12. I was sitting way in the back, second to last row, perhaps if I would have been in the front I might have...

Wildest Ride at Animal Kingdom - the safari?

Everyone complained. This wasn't intended to be an initial complaint. This was more about follow up. That being said I now realize that I probably wont get any information out of Disney for the many reasons listed above.

Wildest Ride at Animal Kingdom - the safari?

We saw the manager walking towards the area where we got off. I've never had to deal with this type of experience at Disney. I can't think of really any other attraction inside a park where the bast member has so much to do with the actual operation and safety of the ride so I'd think the...

Wildest Ride at Animal Kingdom - the safari?

That was also a thought. I will probably call them this weekend when I have more time. I'm guessing the problem has already been addressed because some sort of management was called over to talk to guests. I didn't hang around to talk to them since a lot of others (including a group of...

Trip Report The Tuvalu Chronicles ~ Chapter 25 *COMPLETED*

I do a fair bit of work with metal and metal structures in my line of business. Depending on what it is actually made out of I wouldn't be surprised if the three circle mickey is the same (well two and a half). You'd be very surprised how old some of the poles lights, billboards...

I also apprecaite your sarcasm. And that was sort of my thinking, that any disciplinary action would be confidential and they wouldn't reveal if he was just new or actually inebriated for fear of lawsuits by employee or guest.
