    Castle Ramp Smoking Section Eliminated

I also remember that if you ask, all the resorts gave you a book of matches with their name on them. I still have some from the Polynesian and the Contemporary Resorts.

    Castle Ramp Smoking Section Eliminated

I'm old enough to remember when you could stand in any queue line that was outside ( ie Jungle cruise, COP etc) and smoke and nobody ever complained. They even had ashtrays so you could put out your cigarettes before you went inside of the attractions. I also remember Cosmic Rays had tiny...

    What's your favorite Disney Moutain?

Big Thunder Mountain is my favorite. Splash used to be may favorite but now I don't like getting wet and I always seem to get soaked when I ride it these days.

    Castle Ramp Smoking Section Eliminated

As long as tobacco is legal to buy, there should be places for people to smoke in public. I quit smoking years ago but I also understand the needs of smokers and how hard it is to quit. Things will get really interesting when smoking marijuana is legal in Florida. Id rather have my kids inhale...

What makes you cry at WDW?

I may be a little off topic here but one time, there was a stage show at EPCOT and there were some special needs kids in wheelchairs in the front row. The castmembers got off the stage and went down to the front row and gave those kids some one on one attention which made their eyes light up and...

Sonny Eclipse at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe

Although I have seen his act 30+ times, I miss Sony Eclipse when he is "on vacation". It makes the meal seem boring without him performing. It would be like going to eat at Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex and the sound effects were all turned off. Without Sony, it's just another counter service place.

    I really wish I hadn't done that?

Taking our teenage daughter who had a new boyfriend with us. We thought it would be a great family bonding experiance, but all she did all week was text him, call him, E-mail him, and whine about how much she missed him. It's ironic too, that she broke up with him 2 days after we got back.:banghead:

Watch those little fingers on the safari ride

Be careful of those gates in the waiting area of Rafikis Planet Watch. I've witnessed some over-zealous childrens fingers and hands getting smashed in there as well.

Is Breakfast at Crystal Palace worth it?

If you're a fan of Pooh and friends, this is the place to be. My wife has been a Winnie the Pooh fan for years so to her it's well worth the price. It's pretty typical of most breakfast buffets at WDW with lots to choose from. My family has done it twice and I doubt we'll do it again but you...

    Electrical Water Pageant Volume

When I stay in the Magic Kingdom side of the Hawaii longhouse at Disneys Polynesian Resort it tends to wake me up if I happen to be sleeping when it comes around. I either get up and watch it and giggle like a 5 year old child, or I just roll over and go back to sleep with a smile on my face.

    Best Attraction for ...napping

I literally cannot watch The American Adventure without falling asleep. I'm not sure if it's the comfy seats, the air conditioning, or the fact that I'm getting old, but since I have seen this attraction in its entirety a few times, now I just sit back, close my eyes, and let it happen.

Why has there been no Walt AA

I see nothing wrong with making an attraction that is a tribute to Walt Disney and all he has acheived. It could be a boat ride, like Living With the Land, and Walt himself, could do the narration. Imagine sitting on a boat, looking up at Walt himself, not just any AA of Walt but the best. most...

Music that reminds you of WDW

Whenever I hear any song with a banjo, a fiddle, and a mandolin, it reminds me of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

I'm 5'9" and 230lbs with bad knees. I rode it but won't again. tight fit and too short of a ride for me. OK if it's ever a walk on, but I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes for this ride again.

    Be Our Guest Reservations

We won't be eating again anytime soon at Be Our Guest. We did all the right things. We made ressies 180 days in advance, then we opted for the pre-order online option and told them what we wanted off the menu. When we arrived for our designated lunch time we were made to stand in line with...

    Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

While I'm glad WDW has over the years expanded it's menus to include a great variety of choices, once in a while, my family and I enjoy a basic "Burger and fries" meal and in my opinion, Beaches and Cream has one of the, if not the best burger and fries combos in the parks. With the smell of the...
