You're right. I do still wish that I had my old Motorola brick phone. Those things were indestructible.

The Motorola brick phone and the Polaroid camera were perfect. I noticed that many of the people in attendance were very overweight and out of shape. These people need to spend more time exercising and less time chowing down on alcoholic beverages and desserts. It made me uncomfortable to...

Several years ago I purchased a complete 49 piece set of dinnerware (service for eight) from the Mitsukoshi Department Store at EPCOT. The set was on sale for a very good price and we had the purchase sent to our resort room. It was very heavy. It was packed in a large and heavy duty...

Haunted Mansion has glowing entrance signs now

I think we need to look at the bright side. The lights are most likely LED and if they dial back the brightness of Madame Leota's crystal ball they'll end up saving some carbon credits and make the world a better place to live for all of us. :)

The universe is either really, really big but finite or it could be infinite. We don't know yet. The laws of physics and the size of the cosmos give every indication that parallel universes exist. The building blocks may be similar but the randomness of evolution will produce beings that...

What are they doing with that money in the capital reserve? Perhaps they are earning interest on that money and they will use that money to improve property that they own. The members are paying the tax on property that is owned by Disney. If it weren't for the DVC members, TWDC would be on...

The DVC dues include maintenance and taxes. A DVC member has a long term (40+ years) property lease, but they don't own any property. They don't have fee simple title. Disney maintains fee simple title on all DVC property. Yet the club members pay the full amount for property tax. Shifting...

Possible Changes coming to the Guest Assistance Cards (GAC)

No. While dwarfism is considered a disability it is not reasonable to make any exceptions for rides that have height requirements. It would constitute a safety hazard which would be an unreasonable accommodation. They are only required to provide reasonable accommodations.

Possible Changes coming to the Guest Assistance Cards (GAC)

The ADA calls for nondiscrimination in public accommodations. Disney parks and resorts are public accommodations. The ADA prohibits unnecessary inquiries into the existence of a disability. The ADA only requires that disabled people are afforded reasonable accommodations. Is it unreasonable...

My WDW Annual Pass from 1990 had my photo laminated on the back. In those days when you bought your AP (or turned in your voucher) you were taken to a small room and they used a Polaroid ID camera to take your mugshot: One color photo was laminated on your AP and another copy of the same...

It's 7.4 miles. Jog or a brisk walk would be possible. If it were me, I'd make sure that all my luggage had quality wheels. The Orlando area is pretty flat. I'd then get a gas powered motorized skateboard. Edit: And make sure you have a quality Disney poncho in case of rain.
