    2013 Holiday Sleigh Rides?

Thank you so much!!! I was able to grab Christmas Eve. The cost has increased from $60 to $64 per ride, I noticed. Oh, well...Christmas. LOL. Thanks for updating, Tink27, you're a lifesaver!

    Holiday sleigh rides

There are times listed, but they aren't available for booking yet. One of agents on the events line told me to start checking 90 days out, could be 60 days out, LOL. I am looking for a December date, so as of now I am checking every week, and once I get to September, I'll start looking or...

    2013 Holiday Sleigh Rides?

Thank you, I'm hoping 90 is the magic number!

    2013 Holiday Sleigh Rides?

Nah, I've called several times so far this month, LOL. They're still offering them ($60 per ride) and they require reservations, but none of the CMs seem to know when reservations begin.

    2013 Holiday Sleigh Rides?

Does anyone know how far in advance you can book the Holiday Sleigh Rides at Ft Wilderness? The web page says 180 days (wrong) and the CMs I've talked to on the PLAY line claim to have no idea. I hate to keep calling and checking every day between now and December, but I will if I have to.

    Weird Waiting :(

I'm in a similar boat. We returned from WDW after our first trip (May 2012) and I thought, "Can't wait to go again!" Initially I didn't mean that literally; I knew it would probably be 2 or 3 years before we went again. And then my Dad passed away in June 2012 and my grief manifested in planning...

Characters You're Shocked You Can't Meet

Definitely Pete (especially with the Silly Circus) and Clarabelle. They're both regulars on Disney Jr's "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and my 3 year old was baffled last year that they weren't with the rest of the Clubhouse Gang. Of course, last year he didn't get why Daisy wasn't included at the Chef...

Birthday party, cheesecake, PhD, Boom! A Christmas 2013 PTR

Thank you!! My son (he will be 5 in August) goes back and forth about the Jedi training. Some days he's into the idea of the light saber, and some days he doesn't want to "get up in front of all those people." So we'll see how that turns out! I am excited about writing my TR! I've found so few...

Bed Bugs ... EEK! A June 2013 TR

I am THRILLED to hear that. We have an ADR at Garden Grill for Christmas Day, and I've read some reviews claiming they didn't enjoy the set, family style menu (the choices sound fantastic to me) but liked the character interaction. I love reading TRs not only for that daily jolt of Disney, but...

Birthday party, cheesecake, PhD, Boom! A Christmas 2013 PTR

It's June 25...my 180 days! I was up at 4:30 CST to make my ADRs for my Christmas week trip. You know, I do, with no irony, wish I was the sort of person who took a spontaneous approach to visiting the parks and to whom a churro and a Diet Coke was an experience. But I'm just not. The...

Unrealistic Christmas week reservation + time + travel expectations?

For some reason hearing it from someone else made me realize that a sit-down dinner was the least important of the three, and that we'd be happy with a quick snack and the sleigh ride. Thanks!

Unrealistic Christmas week reservation + time + travel expectations?

Sorry, I meant Wilderness Lodge. Posted before coffee. Crowds don't bother us greatly, and we're judiciously visiting the parks, not expecting to get much done as far as attractions go. Mainly going for the resorts and atmosphere. Thanks for the luck, though, I'm sure we'll still need it!

Unrealistic Christmas week reservation + time + travel expectations?

We're heading to our second Disney World trip the week of Christmas. I'm relaxed in my expectations at the park vis-a-vis rides, attractions, ect. that week, but there are things that require reservations that I have doubts about being able to successfully work in. Basically, I'd like you to...

    Happiness is................... the ride

Dumbo! I loved Peter Pan and the Tea Cups, but something about Dumbo made me get that "OMG -- we're at Disney World!" feeling. Splash is second because I was terrified to have my (then 3 year old) son ride it and he was ECSTATIC! He still tells everyone that Splash Mt is his favorite ride -- and...

    Kids' Birthday Trip to WDW

LOVE the idea of a scavenger hunt. Also love the kids' Disney Nerd shirts. May I ask where you found those?

Birthday party, cheesecake, PhD, Boom! A Christmas 2013 PTR

Thanks! After collecting Disney stuff for him for so long, it was surprising how a paint job, Disney comforter and framed posters tied it all together! I looked at Beach Club. I don't think we'll do it this trip, but it's definitely something to look for in the future, especially if i can find...

Birthday party, cheesecake, PhD, Boom! A Christmas 2013 PTR

I think you might have something there. Plus, I'd have to check out/check in on Dec 24 or 25, and I really want to put up Christmas decorations, so moving those would be pointless.

Birthday party, cheesecake, PhD, Boom! A Christmas 2013 PTR

December 2013 Updates: To end our Christmas trip, we are now booked for one night (12/27) at the La Quinta Orlando--Universal Studios with a package that includes early entry to Islands of Adventure and one day tickets for Islands. We're really only interested in WWHP, Spiderman and Seuss, so...
