here are some random pics from Mother's Day 2024 (yesterday) from HS around noonish (RotR posted 60 mins, Minnie/Mickey rail-road was posted as 65 mins, I did not ride anything to know how accurate those were, but this is just a look of how crowded it felt on the streets of the park:

UoR dropped their welcome at some point, Pop Warner then went to Sea World, but I think Sea World has since dropped them as well.

last week, the troupes seemed very International (but I have not noticed any from the Brazil/Argentina area). This week, the troupes seem more American -- I certainly saw a lot of busses heading to Wide World of Sports today, I assumed cheerleaders, Most of my observations are from Disney...

were the cheerleaders there last year 'this' week? I just know the cheerleaders seem to be in town this week, last week seemed to be more dance. I have not been out to the parks to know, but just wondering if the events fell around the same time each year.

yep, I mean w/ the pre-book, they added a fast lane to all the rides. Remember in the fast pass (pre+) days, one could ride attractions such as Pirates, HM, IASW.....all w/o merger points/fast pass lanes. One really only missed out if they couldn't get over to Midway Mania at rope drop...

How long have the 'after hours' events been around? I've always known folks from south east FL that would get priced out of Disney, give UoR a try and then get their Disney fix w/ lower priced Parties (a decade or so ago). I just see the 'after hours' as a way for someone to spend one night...
