We don't do the value because we want the queen beds, being that I am not a small guy. From what I understand the queen beds at Port Orleans are only in the princess rooms. If that is the case I think that might put my wife into Disney over load, just a little too much theming.

we always buy a few gift cards for spending on our trip when we get close to time. We usually buy a couple of smaller ones for the kids to buy themselves something(they get a big kick out of paying for it themselves) and they they think they are using a credit card like a grown up.

I would love to stay at the AKL or Poly but can't justify the added expense for a room that I am only going to sleep and shower in. I also would like to stay at the Port Orleans but I like the Queen beds and that is why I stay at the Coronado on every trip.

Both of our daughters have an Ipod touch and we will be taking those into the parks on our next trip. If for nothing else to occupy us while in line. Hopefully by then the wife and I will both have Iphones for other useful app items in the parks.

I would stay at Poly in a heartbeat just because of the location, but that is way out of our price range. If we were going to upgrade to a deluxe it would be AKL or WL.

We went this past Sept around the 20th and it was hot. Temps in the mid to upper 90's with heat indexes between 105 and 110. We sweat a lot but the crowd levels were low so we weren't standing in long lines a lot.

It depends on what you consider within walking distance....but I know the CR is within walking distance of the MK and I believe there are a couple can't remember which ones off the top of my head are within walking distance of Ecpot and HWS.
