5 adventurous eaters + 1 very picky eater

I'm allergic to, well, just about everything. Disney is always more than willing to accommodate around my likes and allergies. There's almost always an option for a burger, some type of chicken or steak wherever you go.

    Something special at christmas

I suppose you could buy a small plastic christmas tree and put that in the room. You could also buy command style hooks and bring along your stockings and hang those in the room to. I strongly suggest the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party, I haven't been to that one, but have been to the...

    ESPN world of Sports..

It's ESPN so, if you like hockey basically be prepared to be disappointed. Side note, I've never actually been there so I'm just being a jerk and complaining about ESPN's lack of hockey coverage.

    Stroller Decorations?

I've seen people use pictures of their children before instead of a name tag. I guess when the stroller companies give out the strollers everyone gets the same nametag. While with the picture, I highly doubt someone would mistake your children for theirs ;)

Who Pays for Your Trips to Disney?

Since I still go with my parents as a family, they pay. However, there is a new rule that apparently since I have a job and stuff now I have to pay for my own souvenirs and stuff. How rude of them! I did pay (mostly) on my own when I went for a high school graduation though. They paid for the...

    Room Upgrades

Yup! They're water view! That is the view from those rooms! If you don't mind the noise, I'd definitely say go for those rooms. They are so worth it! If I'm recalling correctly, you can see the fireworks from here too.

    First trip to wdw

If your kids are grazers buy snacks before you get on to Disney property. Once you're in Disney expect everything to be a little more expensive. Also, since your kids are younger just know that the snacks in Ireland are different (as I'm sure you knew). If they're particular about their foods...

    Room Upgrades

Yup! That was our typical room, that one or one in the same strip above there. Honestly, yes. We're late sleepers (like 9 am is ideal wake up time) compared to many, so it really wasn't ideal in these rooms. You could hear the boats to HS and Epcot loud and clear blowing their horns bright and...

Worst part of the Resorts and why?

Some of the rooms at the Boardwalk are SO far from the main entrance. I didn't mind the walk until I was carrying a pack of water back to my room! If it eases your anxieties, I've stayed at POR and FQ and have never had a problem with the towel situation. That was probably just a fluke. Do they...

    Room Upgrades

One time at the BW they informed us that they had overbooked and since we'd been frequent flyers there they'd upgraded us from the room directly above the bakery to somewhere else. Intrigued, we agreed. We follow the CM to the club level. We thought "Club level, cool." Then they bring us to the...

    Merchandise question

I'd bought one of the Dooney & Bourke bags and a similar thing happened, some of the leather trim was unwrapping. I'd only had it for about two months (with minimal use, I'm a very forgetful person and often leave my bags places so I only carry it while I'm going out) when this started to...

Who else loves and miss the Spectromen from Spectromagic?

That video made me so emotional. This was the first parade I ever saw during my first ever night at WDW. I miss the heck out of that parade. It was so amazing as a little kid seeing Mickey all lit up like that.

    curious about River Country?

Yup, you're correct. That's why I said "that's the type of stuff."

Flying Fish Cafe at the Boardwalk is good, as is Yachtsmen Steakhouse! I would recommend YS to anyone!

    What should We eat ?

Might be alone here but I've always loved the rotisserie chicken from Cosmic Rays! Also, the waffle place in Magic Kingdom (name is escaping me, but it's right by the castle) is amazing. Waffles with chocolate and strawberries ugh so good Also, if you're into alcohol, there's an orange frozen...

    EPCOT Resort bus transportation

I stayed at the Boardwalk last June and for the most part the busses worked out! It's a fairly short ride to everything on property. The only compaint I had was one day when waiting for a bus for Blizzard Beach, we waited almost 50 minutes before just saying "Screw it" and got on a bus to...

    Vote - Favourite Deluxe Resort

EXACTLY how I feel about the Boardwalk. Something about it feels so home-y to me. It felt wrong when we stayed at the BC last trip, it felt like I was cheating.

    Birthdays at Disney...?

They actually messed up at a the poly character breakfast when I went with a few of my friends for graduation and they thought it was a birthday! I informed them it wasn't actually my birthday and they CM goes "Well, Happy Unbirthday to you then!" I really liked that quick thinking and that she...

    For Some Reason

My family is just talking about a trip and I'm SO excited. I was just there for New Years too but I'm more excited than normal this time. I think I'm just looking forward to being able to go and come back and not have to return immediately to school.
