I arrive at Disney the day after you on 9/21, but I will be landing in Orlando on 9/19 and checking into Royal Pacific. Woo Hoo!!

If you didn't do a Fantasmic Dining Pkg...

I just got back from WDW three days ago. Unfortunately, things have changed with Fantasmic. If you choose standby, then you will not be admitted into the theatre until ten minutes before the show. Then you have two choices - you can stand or you can sit in the bleachers located all the way in...

Avoiding Everything That Is The 7D Mine Train!

I am also 33 days away and I refuse to click on any videos or pictures that may spoil my surprise for the 7DMT. I will be at DHS on 5/1 for the 25th anniversary and on 5/2, I'll be at MK for the official opening of 7DMT. I know both days will be very crowded but I'm still so excited!!!!

    March vs. June 2014??

June and July are now the two busiest months at WDW. This is mainly due to the increase in visitors from South America. I've been to WDW in March and June. I would choose March due to the weather.

On the fence about where to stay - Long post / need help please

I've stayed at Pop, AoA, POFQ, and Saratoga Springs. Pop Century has the most efficient bus service by far. It's a fun resort and you and your child will not be disappointed. AoA has a better food court and fortunately, it is only a short walk across the bridge from Pop Century. If you leave a...

    Booking Paridiso 37

I was able to walk up and get a table in ten minutes without a reservation on 12/26 and was pleasantly surprised with my meal there.

    First week of June crowds

I've been to WDW twice in June during the last five years. In 2009, it was the second week and in 2011, I went during the first week. The crowds were moderate to high for both visits. June and July are now very popular months for South American tour groups so pack your patience.

    WDW or DLR?

I have been to both DLR and WDW twice in the last two years. DLR is more magical and the quality of just about everything is higher. I liked being able to walk to the parks from my reasonably priced off-property good neighbor hotel just across the street. Also, it is much easier to be...

    trying to book

The easiest way to get on Disney's radar is to request a free vacation DVD.

Bad, But Funny Things At WDW

On two separate trips, I've seen water fountains in the Magic Kingdom used as baby bidets. Needless to say, I refuse to drink out of any of the water fountains in WDW. I can't walk past the one in Adventureland without shaking my head.

    Best EPCOT Dinner?

I've never had a bad meal at La Hacienda de San Angel and their appetizer and dessert offerings are terrific.

First Adulthood trip, with OCD, need tips!

I have issues too, but they always seem to decrease or even disappear while I'm in Disney. I can't explain why, exactly. I guess it is being in the Disney "bubble". While I'm there, I don't watch the news or read any newspapers. I also use my cell phone as little as possible. I still use Purell...

Has anyone used Costco Travel to Visit DisneyWorld?

You should check out Trivago for the lowest hotel prices. Since the Swan and Dolphin do not participate in Magical Express, you will be responsible to pay for your own transportation to/from the airport. If you choose Super Shuttle, make sure to check out Mousesavers for the most recent discount...

Poll: What's Your Favorite Holiday Show/Parade?

Also none of the above. I vote for the Candlelight Processional. I just love hearing the Hallelujah Chorus sung the way it was meant to be with an orchestra and The Voices of Liberty. I get choked up every time.

    Spontaneous trip help!

You should try going on the Trivago web site. You may be able to get a room at Swan/Dolphin for the entire week due to other travel companies buying up blocks of rooms to sell.

How do you spend your time at WDW?

On my Animal Kingdom day, I like to leave around 4:00 P.M. and head straight to Downtown Disney for some dinner, shopping, and fun.

    A Gastronomic Explosion At Disney...

In July, I had the pleasure of dining at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and it was the best meal I've ever had in Disney. The filet mignon, truffle mac & cheese, and the creme brulee were outstanding! I can't wait to go back there someday.

Red Sox Win!! Now when is the parade?

You will most likely see at least one member of the Red Sox lead the afternoon parade at WDW within the next few days. I would keep an eye on this web site and The Official Disney Blog for updated information.
