Roundabouts have been a success even to the good ol boys in Jawjuh (Georgia for those not from my part of the country) and have reduced accidents at many previously problematic intersections. I can agree that they’re not the end all be all though.

Oh, it’s definitely possible. I just personally don’t like full automation for some applications is all, and I could see several reasons why Disney chose to keep pilots on board.

I don’t know speeds of either incident. But after seeing more pictures on Facebook of the I-16 incident, it was a large dump truck, not what you would routinely see around town, and it ended up being loaded with large tires. It was a heck of a hit for sure!

Lots of things are secured only by the weight of the structural members. Lots of concrete parking garages and bridges for instance.

I think they’re referring to the fact that it looks like my 3 year old climbed up there and slapped some purple stripes in the roof. It’s pretty crazy how they look nice and clean from ground level haha
