A fire isn’t confirmed extinguished until the fire department says it’s extinguished. Also, many fires are put out prior to arrival of the fire department, but there’s still work to do. Overhaul to prevent a “rekindle”, ventilation, monitoring for toxic byproducts of combustion etc.

Cost maybe? I’d think it would be more expensive/time consuming to paint it like a rock vs the simpler patterns that now exist?

We use the dining plan and typically break even or come out very slightly ahead, so we consider it pre paying for food. However if portions are reduced and/or prices go up, that will be rethought in the future, assuming we are willing to spend the money on the trip as a whole.

We’ve had success with them in urban/suburban/rural applications…..in almost every case I know of it seems to have stopped accidents overnight. I’m not a traffic engineer though.
