    Hard to get Reservation

Le Cellier is one of the smallest, if not THE smallest, table service restaurant on property. So, ressies go quickly when there are fewer seats. Remember... Le Cellier was NOT a steakhouse in its original version- more like a cafeteria, where turn-over was quicker and there wasn't a need for...

    massages

Have had massages and mani/pedi at GF on a few occasions... very nice facility, very comfortable, treated like royalty... very pleasant and incredible massage! A great way to start, or end, the vacation! :)

Anyone here bring a 3 month to 3 and half month old to the world.

We took our first child when she was just 6 1/2 weeks old. She and I both did fine, but we did tackle the parks at a much slower pace than before I had kids. We took a lot of breaks, and usually went back to the resort mid-day for a little quiet time and "de-compress from stimulation" time...

    In Room Safe at Poly

The safe at the GF is large enough for a laptop plus a few other items (camera, etc). Hopefully they have the same kind of safe at the Poly.

    Walking from mgm to Epcot??

A few years back, we were at the studios with our large group and were getting ready to head back to EPCOT. My husband and I walked the route back to EPCOT, while the bulk of the group took the boat. We beat our boat riders back to the International Gateway. With all the stops the boat made...

Ever had a kid tall enough not measure up?

This past Christmas, my son finally got to ride Soarin'. He'd been wanting to since he was 2 (what can I say? The kid loves being up in the air!) We had measured him at home (the day before leaving), and he was 40"... right on the dot. We had a cast member friend with us when we got to...

Is there a Height requirement for Soarin'

The height requirement is pretty strictly enforced at Soarin', too! Our son was so hopeful that he would be tall enough on our last visit, so we immediately checked him out... just made it! But, even though one Soarin' cm saw him getting measured and made it, another cast member came along and...

Ideas for those who go to WDW every year

I would do some tours. The Segway tour is FANTASTIC!! Try a water park; miniature golf; sea racers; Richard Petty experience; spa treatments... the list goes on!

    Christmas Snow

I don't recall the "snow" at the MK, but you can get Disney "snow" at the studios during the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. Enjoy your holiday trip!

    Casual Look for CMs???

So, what exactly is wrong with a CM using their cell phone? Maybe they were doing their job- such as a guide, on a tour, using the phone to call and get info for their guest, check on a ressie, etc?? Just because they're using their phone doesn't necessarily mean they are using company time...

Why was Mr. Toad's Wild Ride removed from MK? Any reason other then creating Pooh?

I rode Mr. Toad at MK during the last Christmas season it was opened- during the week between Christmas and New Years... we all commented about the fact that we could literally walk onto the ride with absolutely no wait. It was the ONLY ride in any of the parks like that during that week. Sad...

    Tour/Extras recommendations?

My DH and I did the Around the World on a Segway tour at EPCOT a couple years ago. LOVED IT! It was so much fun and really interesting, especially if you've never ridden on a Segway before. I would love to do it again.

    Need assistance picking a resort!

My choice of the three monorail resorts would be the Polynesian, for the whole romantic atmosphere. When we go with our extended family, we always stay at the GF, and to be honest, I'm tired of the GF (and we go every year w/ them) My hubby and I are going for our 15th in Sept, and are going...

    Osbourne Lights question

You will enjoy the light display; it's quite unique. Be sure to read the story boards, too. It will give you some insight into how the display came to be- the 3 million lights on the house in Little Rock, the lawsuit, the journey to Disney... I was lucky enough to get to experience the lights...

    Which Would You Choose

A lot of the guide books recommend allowing at least one hour to go resort-to-resort, because of having to make transfers and all. In our experience, we usually allow an 90 minutes when going that route- you never know when you're going to miss a bus... plus, there's always something to do/see...

    Best place for Christmas Dinner

The lights are included with the admission! They should be on every night of your stay. There's even Florida "snow" to add to the atmosphere!!

    Best place for Christmas Dinner

I would recommend Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge, too. Have done that before, and it's very nice. We've also done Narcoossee's on Christmas- gets away from the more traditional Christmas fare, but it's very good! Romantic locations: Bistro de Paris, California Grill, Le Cellier, Coral...

What is the best time of Spring to Visit

Also, will then allow us to take our daughter on some of the rides in MK? Like Dumbo, Small World...Obvious kid friendly rides. Never been w/ a baby before, so I have no idea! YES! They are kid rides, after all!!! Took my daughter, who was 6 weeks old on her first visit, on almost all...
