How much does Disney Social Media/TDO check on WDWmagic?

I have it on good authority that there are 104 folks from TDO who watch WDWmagic full time. The money used for that endevor is taken from the light bulb budget and that is why there are so many burned out bulbs around the parks.

    WDW DVD?

I have that set. They are pretty good but in some cases they are dated. Good viewing when you need a fix.

Your Opinion .. RnR or Expedition Everest.. Which one is scarier??!

I love them both. RnRC's launch is a thrill especially since you get to watch it and listen to the count down. After that it is a smooth ride. The backward portion of EE is a blast and you pull more g's on the ride. That last drop is fun but since it is banked it is pretty easy. Just 14 days...

    Repeat Visitors....

Some folks here need to find new family and/or friends. I try not to associate with folks who don't get Disney. We're lucky that we do vacation at other locations. We do Disney once or twice a year plus we'll go to other spots. But, our first choice is Disney.

Cast Members with Green Brazil Shirts

Yeah, other than one encounter with a French=Canadian group, and I am French-Canadian, I've not had issues with any group. Individual english speakers, well that's another issue. I think a lot of the rude behavior comes from the pressure brought on by the high cost of a Disney vacation and the...

How many times have you been?

Something north of 40. We're leaving in 14 days for a 2 week stay and I'll celebrate my 70th birthday while there. Our two sons and their famiies will join us and I have to admit I'm as excited as I've ever been. We'll meet our newborn great granddaughter for the first time. The parks never get...

    The Dreaded Tour Groups

I guess we're lucky, we've never run into this. Did have a minor run in with a group from Quebec trying to push past us in the queue at Kilimanjaro (sp?) Safari. They got a little pushy when I wouldn't let them pass. I'm 6'4" and 280 lbs. I won.

Your alltime, #1, most favorite, bestest meal at the World.....

We ate lunch at The Rose & Crown last year. Our waitress was a lovely lass from Ireland (careful Crush). I had the fish & chips and I told the waitress they were as good as we had at our fish fry at the American Legion. that's a compliment. New places this year will be Via Napoli and Narcoossee's.

Your alltime, #1, most favorite, bestest meal at the World.....

Well, that's an easy one for me. Lobster bisque and king crab claws at Fulton's Crab House.

    WDW dissatisfaction?

Everyone does the parks in their own way. We've been some 40+ times and we have yet to do everyting. We do enjoy the rides and will often do some multiple times. But, there are shows we've yet to see, restaurants we have yet to eat at, rides we haven't done. We take our time in the parks in...

    Disney security in retail stores

Yeah, because the two situations are identical. I said she was probably right but me, I'm careful about what I accuse people of in public.

    Disney security in retail stores

That's fine. Were you close enough to know her intent? Look, you are probably right but you accused her of a crime that she, according to your first post, that she had not yet committed.

Anyone Else Missing Real Mad Hatter?

Hatter is the advance party for Crush and myself. He's making sure that the bar at Rose & Crown has plenty of Guiness on hand for when we show up in a couple of weeks.

Is SOG owned by the military?

Every year a local Bennigans gives 20% of their days take, including alcohol, to a local resort for returning troops. The resort is free of charge to the troops and their family. No press, the only benefit to Bennigan's is the gratitude of our American Legion Post 32 who supports the effort. The...

Do you have to have a reservation?

It depends on the time of year, the time you want to eat and the popularity of the restaurant. We've walked into Liberty Tree Taven when the crowds were low and around 3PM no problem. But, I wouldn't count on doing that on a regular basis. Certainly not Cali Grill.

Is SOG owned by the military?

Exactely. I have no idea how the deal went down but I do know that Disney 1) owns one hell of a lot of property, 2) Disney has a long record of supporting the military, make-a-wish, chidren's network, etc. 3) giving up one piece of property won't break the bank. I prefer to think they just put...
