    Value versus the rest

If you can't afford the deluxes, the Port Orleans French Quarter is just about the best of the moderates. It still isn't that great though. Reminds of the quality you would see at a Comfort Inn. The deluxes are actually a better bang for your buck when it comes to providing location...

    Resort/Package Dilemma

Yeah, I could see how this would not appeal to a Canadian. The Polynesian might be a better fit.

    How sad!!!

The article states that the boy had already been suffering from some serious health issues and may have passed away in his sleep. Perhaps the family knew he wasn't long for this world and decided to take him to WDW as sort of a "last hurrah".

    Is it wrong....

You'll get nothing but support and encouragement here as most people are of the same mindset about WDW. A more telling and unbiased feedback would be that from your friends, family, peers, co-workers, etc; the people you actually live with. How do they feel about this?

    Resort/Package Dilemma

The value resorts are noisy and jammed packed during the spring break season. The pool will be a circus. If you want more serenity, nicer accommodations, and an excellent quiet pool I would recommend the Wilderness Lodge. It is the most economical of the deluxe resorts and is well within...

Has anyone been during President's day week

President's Day itself would be a good day to avoid the Magic Kingdom. The lines for The Hall of Presidents on this day are longer than Space Mountain or Splash Mountain.

What should I order at Le Cellier?

To quote Clara Peller..."Where's the beef?!?" That filet looks tiny.

    To settle my anxiety!

It sounds like you are stretching your budget to make this trip happen. You were just there 7 months ago. Is it really that important to go again so soon that you are willing to stress the family finances?

If you had to skip one park on your trip, which would it be?

Kids and adults don't want reality glossed over with sugar coating. Gives us the real deal and Disney will see AK park attendance improve.

Brazil to join the World Showcase at Epcot

It isn't a burden at all. I could care less if anyone believes it or not. Someone told me, I posted it.

If you had to skip one park on your trip, which would it be?

I think you're wrong on this one. People would love to see the animals interact as they do in nature. People can learn a lot about these animals by watching how they hunt, kill, eat, copulate, give birth and die. As it stands now it is just a bunch of animals standing around eating and doing...

If you had to skip one park on your trip, which would it be?

You think it is a bad idea to let the animals coexist as they do in nature?

Brazil to join the World Showcase at Epcot

He said "Brazil Pavilion at World Showcase". It was pretty clear. I didn't think to grill him for the most minute details like a Defense Attorney during a cross examination. Perhaps I should have. I really didn't think it was that big of a deal at the time. It didn't dominate our whole...

Brazil to join the World Showcase at Epcot

What I posted has nothing to do with the food stand or the Food and Wine Festival. The source for the permanent Brazilian pavilion is an engineer who works at Disney. We went to college together and I called him recently because I am scheduled to head back to WDW in 6 weeks and we talked...

Brazil to join the World Showcase at Epcot

I did realize they have a booth. Maybe some of the CMs working that booth will know more about the upcoming pavilion but I doubt it. CMs usually are the last to know.

Trip planning newbie needs your help for March 2010

We live out of state and usually rack up a grand alone in airfare. I have found that 5K seems to be about the right amount for a family of five for one week. Any less than this and we have to cut corners with food and lodging and that is out of the question.

Brazil to join the World Showcase at Epcot

How many times do I have to say it hasn't been announced yet? I know we are all excited for this new addition but we need to be patient. Brazil wasn't built in a day.

Trip planning newbie needs your help for March 2010

I find it usually costs about $5000 US dollars for every week that you stay on property. This includes food, lodging, tickets and airfare.
