Easter Itinerary Opinions Wanted! Need advice

Yes, it is busy but we have been on Easter and honestly if you plan your time in the parks - it is doable. And actually quite exciting because of all that is going on. No you can't just walk on many rides, but if you use your fastpasses and plan your time in the parks, it will be great. Also...

    Going Jan 1-7 - POFQ

The pool is great - the food court has a good selection. The rooms are clean and nice. None of the rooms are too far from anything. You don't have to pay for a view to have a nice view from your room. We have stayed in the standard rooms every time and have had a great experience. This is...

how do you make disney parks educational events?

As a teacher, I think it depends on the age of your children. If you have younger children, I think you have a much better shot because there are so many cool educational things. For a middle/high schooler, it would be more difficult, because what they study is a bit more in depth. I know...

    Chocolate covered strawberries

The confectionary at MK has them but they often run out early - your best bet is to try in the afternoon/early evening. They are delicious!!

    best way to EE

We have found that if we get there early, we grab a fast pass and we get in the standby line. Since there are few to no fast passes, the standby line goes really fast and we get two rides for the price of one!! Have fun!

    Education in the Magic Kingdom

I am also doing a trip for a class - I teach high school - there is a book by a Pinsky (Sp?) with a subtitle - faith trust and a little pixie dust - it looks at every Disney movie (not to ruin them) but it examines issues/worldview concepts that are in the movie - it might work for you to take...

    Planing my trip

I don't think I saw anyone mention this, but from what I know, you can't get to DTD from the parks (if you are using the bus system)- you have to go to a hotel first. That might make the AK schedule a bit tight. O'hanas is great!

    Opinions of French Quarter

We love the FQ! Honestly we just stayed at the Beach Club and although there are definitely nice perks, we still felt like the FQ is our favorite place to stay. It is quiet and not teeming with people. The food court is great. The pool is wonderful. We absolutely think it is great! Also...

Travelling with large group to WDW

Hey - that sounds great - I have sort of been planning for a "Middle size group" but one thing I have found - make your PS arrangments early - and be prepared that you might have to sit at two tables. That happened a couple of times for our party of 7 so just to let you know. Have fun!:)

    Resort Help?

We just took advantage of that discount and stayed at the Beach Club. I think that with children and the heat you will be happy to be so close to MGM and Epcot. It is so nice to be right there and we did not find it to be a production to go back to the hotel during the day. Also, the pool is...

Going to Disney July 30 - Aug 4

We just got back from the World in early July and we will be there July 28-August 3 - we bought the Mickey ponchos (had to because of torrential rain) and I am going to take them this time - they were great - you could slip them on and off really easily and you could wear your backpack etc under...

Which character meals do you suggest?

Donald's Breakfastasauras (sp?) in Animal Kingdom is great too! Mickey, Goofy, Donald and I think Pluto are there. The nice thing to do is book a Priority seating for 1/2 before the park opens (they let you in with your confirmation number) - then you can eat and you are already in the park...

Who's been to O'HANA in the last month or two ?

I had never been to O'hana before March - so I don't know how it used to be, but I absolutely loved it. I think the appetizers were the salad, fried wontons, chicken wings, and shrimp. Then you got potatoes and the meet - which I think was beef, pork, turkey or sausage? I can't remember...

    Fourth of July

I know that the 4th is super busy but we are going to the parks (we are ready for the crowds!) and are super excited to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. We are staying at the Beach Club - how early do you think we need to go to MK to make sure we get in? Do the parks close for everyone or...

Is LUNCH at Cinderella's Royal Table worth doing?

We went to CRT for lunch and it was great! The food was really great and the atmosphere was awesome! The characters spend time with each table and take pictures. While I don't know if I would go back every time we go to WDW:wave: - it was a wonderful experience that was totally worth the price.

    OKW vs. Saratoga Springs

Hey my family is going to WDW at the end of July - through a lot of circumstances we may need to change our room arrangements to use our passholder discounts at Old Key West or Saratoga Springs - any thoughts on which you would choose? How's transportation? Any feedback would be much...

    Restaurant Questions

My husband's family and my husband and I are going to WDW in July. We have a number of different food tastes, so I have some questions - what is the best place to get seafood (and if possible that wouldn't be super expensive) - How's Coral Reef, Cape May, Blue Zoo, Flying Fish? Also, what is...

    Beach Club Questions

The last time I stayed in the Beach Club was in 1988, when I was in the 8th grade - needless to say, I was wondering if it had changed. I have a few questions - I was wondering if there was a particular area to request for a room to stay so that you are close to either the lobby or the...

    Best Restaurant

I personally really enjoy the Brown Derby in MGM and Le Cellier (Canada) in Epcot. Both are more steaks and chops, but I really like both of those. Also, if you like Italian/Spanish/Mediterranean - Spoodles is really great! Have a good time!

    actvating an AP?

You have to get the passes activated at the ticket window at one of the parks. It doesn't take long, but you can't do it at the hotel. We just activated ours. Have a great time!:)
