It is fine if you don’t care the policy is changing (potentially) but the letter of the policy *right now* allows the waiting parent to bring two guests. Let’s at least be honest about what is currently allowed by the literal letter of the policy before claiming the behavior is inconsiderate.

Right, if you only had one kid of riding age. Again, I am just saying that, from what I see, no one in this thread is lamenting having to wait. They are lamenting the lost opportunity to reride with two instead of just one kid.

I am pretty sure you are interpreting this incorrectly. It isn't the wait. It is the missed moment. Image a first-ever trip to Disney. Your kids ride a "big kid" ride for the first time and come off excited and energetic. You, as the waiting parent, would want to still be part of that moment and...

I don't disagree with this response. I was just largely pointing out that it is not exclusively the enhanced UI as many claim.

Note - Florida ends enhanced UI today. For those speculating the enhanced UI was constraining demand for jobs, the timing and nature of this announcement by Disney points.... in a different direction.

In fairness - strickly on the merits of the rooms and overall resort experience -- there are not many hotels on property that are actually worth their rack rates. Disney stopped trying to be a true luxury hotelier along the way. I would give Wilderness and AKL a nod as being truly unique hotel...
