Just what everyone wanted a Death Star Spaceship Earth

I think as a one off on a pre-existing structure, this is very impressive.

2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival beginning August 31st

I agree re: MK - I am often well in the mood for just one cold beer! It is a holiday after all. I see why they don't serve it though.

Is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster changing its theme soon?

Whilst I have a lot of respect for DJ's such as 2ManyDJ's / Soulwax, and I like quite a lot of electronic music which is electro/dance orientated, I cannot ever see Disney using EDM or a DJ type music for this ride. There are many reasons for this. One of them would be that it isn't rock n...

2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival beginning August 31st

Trust me, being from the UK, I'd much rather spend a few extra dollars enjoying the amazing weather and much more 'safe' environment of EPCOT when tasting alcohol etc, and trying new foods, rather than go around some grubby little market in London in the rain with zero space. A/C is lovely...we...

2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival beginning August 31st

I love F&W. I don't have children, so I don't worry so much about the crowds. I just enjoy the food/drink/park/sun and take it easy. Some GREAT beer in 2016!

DAK AVATAR land - the specifics

Whilst I would welcome many more, I think that DAK is actually currently a 2 - 3 day park, IF you want to do every show, see all the animals, spend time wondering around, and riding the current attractions a few times (e.g. EE and Dinosaur - I could ride them all day!). It does depend if you...

DINOSAUR closed for refurbishment July 25 - November 20 2016

I loved this ride when I first went on it (2005?). I went on it again in 2015 - didn't realise there were bits missing and loved it. Went back this year and it was down for refurb, but looking forward to a return journey in 2017/18...no doubt EE might be down though (I CANNOT MISS EE!)

    DAK AVATAR land construction progress

I had no idea that was an AA. Stunning!

Unreleased 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea Subs construction photos.

Fantastic. Look how much detail they have gone into! Hugeeee machines as well. I am sad to say I never got chance to ride this attraction. I am looking forward to the Finding Nemo 'version' next year when I visit Anaheim.

Will Indiana Jones ever be at WDW?

I would quite like to see something replace the live show in HS....I like Indiana, and even though I've only been to Disney 5 times in my life (quite a lot for some people I guess!) I feel it needs a refresh.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Refurb in October?

The launch is fantastic, the rest of the ride is just fun. I am not into extreme thrill rides (eg the highest/biggest/longest coasters) I just like them to be fast and fun, hence Disney's type of coaster appeals to me.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Refurb in October?

It is a stunning coaster. Really fun. I sincerely hope they keep it for a long time.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Refurb in October?

Must have been a minor refurb?!

Your reaction to seeing a long lost favorite attraction, how would you loose your cool?

Snow White in MK. I used to be frightened of it as a very young child! Hahah. 90s MGM/Epcot would be great.

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

To be quite honest with Xmas around the corner, they may as well just accept and admit it is going to be Spring 2017. I just wish they'd kept the Jungle Book show going for a while.

First Time at Disney! Is the amount of rides and shows which are postponed or closed normal?

Hi - sorry you are already worried! We visited late Sept - to mid Oct 2016 for 3 weeks from the UK. ROL was a disappointment for me, but you might actually be lucky for this! I still loved the later atmosphere in the park. Tree of Life awakening for example, Night Safari and riding EE at...

    WDW Sept/Oct 2016 review and discussion :)

No problem. This time we stayed at the Hawthorn Suites, Palm Parkway. Very close to Disney Springs and Typhoon Lagoon. In Oct 2015 we stayed at the Rosen Inn on International Drive. I've never stayed on Disney property. I'd love to but the price almost doubled for our stay to do that.

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

I don't rate mobile games. I got bored of Pokémon Go very quickly but it is a cool little game. I just don't enjoy games on a mobile phone. If I want handheld it has to be a 3DS. I have a Wii/3DS/Wii U and I have one of the Nintendo Minis on order. I also play PS4. To me, Nintendo will always...

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

I rode it twice in October. Once on the day they shut for the Hurricane (just managed to sneak on before the line shut) and once on a busier day and just queued for a while. The theming and queue are absolutely top notch. Not WWOHP, but fantastic. The ride was better the second time. The first...
