We plan what we need to pack a couple of weeks before we leave (no matter where we go). We actually pack the suitcases about 3 days out. Gives us time to do laundry and purchase new sunblock, shampoo etc. Of course, perishable food & drinks are the last to be packed.

Best thing is to keep mobile...I'd try to escape via canals...or Scotty can just beam me up.

Agreed, setting up a separate account is best. Also, check to see how many accounts your employer will direct deposit your check into. Mine will deposit into a maximum of 4. I have a small proportion reposted into a Vacation $ fund.
