    Disney's FY20 Q3 Earnings (8/4/20)

You're 100% accurate. To understand what I'm saying, just understand that Disney Parks will have a significantly worse two consecutive quarters going forward that will damage the company. Why? Because projects have to be resumed, cast are being paid, and attendance is presumably very, very low...

Disney World Pricing, No Mulan Theatrical Release?

You nailed it. Mulan is not being treated like their other planned film releases.

Exactly right, but that also assumes the market stays steady. If in the next months - and I hope this doesn't occur - the COVID situation gets worse out looks to last multiple more years, interest rates would likely rise by default and credit ratings could be reevaluated. Chapek has done a...

    Disney's FY20 Q3 Earnings (8/4/20)

Again correct, but just know that further debt they incur, outside of government bailouts, is likely to require greater and greater interest rates. That's why in any Corporation, at some point they go from taking on debt to selling assets in a situation such as this.

Disney World Pricing, No Mulan Theatrical Release?

Not a problem, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps you did not know that killing a theatrical release almost certainly simultaneously meant releasing on Disney Plus. Thus when I posted a thread stating that Disney was likely to kill the theatrical release, you described it in a way...

    Disney's FY20 Q3 Earnings (8/4/20)

Home run quote. Now the next question should be from people learning about large international corporation financials: how did Disney both lose 5b and not lose their stock pile (yet)? Answer: Debt.

    Disney's FY20 Q3 Earnings (8/4/20)

No, you're absolutely correct. The issue is that companies would never operate all the until they reach cash empty... they'll make changes to ensure they maintain a solid cushion for a myriad of reasons. That would likely occur in January for Disney, and planning for that has already occurred /...

    Disney's FY20 Q3 Earnings (8/4/20)

My position was and is that Disney can withstand this through the summer, then things begin getting dicey. If we get to December and vaccines are pushed significantly back, Disney would begin considering selling some assets, including the red button option I discussed before (particularly if...

    Disney's FY20 Q3 Earnings (8/4/20)

I made a thread about this months ago and said this was a serious option... reception from some was not great. If you count large third party investments rather than typical revenue streams, yes for now. That is unlikely to hold. Which is why Disney+ subscriptions are likely to rise in cost...

You'll disagree, but I would say that's only true due to political gamesmanship.

    Disney's FY20 Q3 Earnings (8/4/20)

With essentially no international travel, Disney depends on guests from all those states. Florida cases have always had little impact, while deaths per million rising in Florida would put tremendous pressure on reclosing.

Given that New York and New Jersey have more deaths than all ID, MT, WY, UT, ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX, MO, AR, LA, WI, IN, OH, KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC, WV, CO, NH, and ME combined... I'm not sure things are worse than they have been. The death we saw in the New York metro area during the...

You're not lying. Similar to the predictions not materializing for previous 18 month expansions, they've not been able to meet 25% capacity, little alone 50%.

I'm told the stock may take the biggest hit over Netflix growing their base more. We'll see... it's a new source on that one, but heck of a thing to watch.

    The Red Button Option

If new cases continue to decline, WDW is certainly not closing. I don't see Tik Tok having a direct impact on selling the Chinese parks... I don't think that's in play unless vaccines are delayed, forcing a asset sales - OR - if there's a serious escalation in the cold war between the US and China.

    The CGI Paradigm Shift

Specifically parks and motion pictures. I'm not aware of any projects using the current facial cgi technology for television or video game projects. Of course, they could easily be in development without my knowledge.
