    The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

It just seems troll-ish in an already hostile thread, with like, 30 pages of Diagon Alley talk and amazing pictures to compare Universal to Cedar Point and say it has no substance. Idk.

    The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

There are three major roller coasters between the two parks, and those are Hulk (IoA), Dragon Challenge (IoA) and Hollywood Rip Ride RockIt (USF). Cedar Point has like, 18 roller coasters. In one park. Universal is not a roller coaster park... There is so much more to it.

    The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

IoA is still the best theme park, for my money. I haven't been to DisneySea yet though. I do agree that I wish Harry Potter didn't replace that was the Lost Continent's Merlinwood. I thought it was detailed and themed to perfection, and I sure do miss the Enchanted Oak and the Dueling Dragons...

    The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

I'm pretty sure Islands of Adventure is my 5 year old sister's favorite theme park. She still talks about how much fun we all had on "the fish ride" trying to follow the song lyrics. Granted, we had an amazing day there in November between the two parks. The weather was perfect and crowds were...

Diagon Alley details revealed - spoiler alert

Is the drop on Escape from Gringotts big/steep? Is there a lift hill? I love drops, so I'm just curious.

    Dining: Uni vs WDW

I think Circus McGurkus is very well themed, but the food... Three Broomsticks, Thunder Falls Terrace and Captain America Diner (mainly for the view) are way better quick service options in Islands of Adventure. I hated the one time I ate at Comic Strip Cafe, in which I ate outside...

    Islands of Adventure's 15th Birthday!

The purpose of the thread was to celebrate Islands of Adventure. So don't start that.

    TEA/AECOM 2013 Report

It would be wise for Disney to pursue the action of plussing their current parks, so that they're fully fleshed out, full day parks. And fix the thematic flaws in Epcot's Future World and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Then, they could pursue a 5th gate, which I doubt would happen anyways. I...

Uni waiting for Marvel Buyout from Disney?

Islands of Adventure was originally supposed to be a "cartoon" park, based on Seuss, DC, classic cartoons, comic strips, etc. With the release of Jurassic Park, Universal decided it would be smart to add it to the park. Then came Lost Continent, Port of Entry, etc. And now we have Islands of...

    Jaws

Jaws is only a portion of the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. In Florida, it was a full fledged ride similar to Jungle Cruise with the town of Amity recreated around it.

Uni waiting for Marvel Buyout from Disney?

Yeah, I've always been sort of confused as to why some people want Marvel out of IoA. Spider-Man is one of the best rides of all time, and I think the land is executed very well, as it's intended to be a comic book city. It looks just like that. And I love Doctor Doom's queue and premise. I...

    Islands of Adventure's 15th Birthday!

Islands of Adventure turned 15 today... Here's some of my favorite pictures that I've taken from the theme park that truly makes me the happiest. I feel like I've grown up with this park, and I've visited it more than any other park out there. I love it so much. Not pictured: Marvel...

Recommend the best walking shoe for Parks (not sneakers)

Like I said before, Chacos! They are so great for walking around. Love them.

    Disneyworld and claustrophobia

I think it's a great ride, but definitely the scariest on Disney property. I rode it last weekend, right after I ate nachos in the Mexico pavilion (don't ask why). Needless to say I was freaking out.
