I don't know about being phased out, but, I do know that that a couple of days this past April they ran out of AAA diamond parking spaces.

You do know that this is going to happen? I'm sure they have already marched right over to some poor sou and demanding...What are you going to do for? LOL!!

I love this parade - but I could do without the creepy little guys with the glowing faces. What was that all about? The music was great too!

I've been doing this for many years. I take my Faberware Perc, coffee, and favorite coffee mugs. I hate having to get out of bed and trudging through a hotel lobby for that first cup of coffee.

My stock response to any requests for advice on anything is...What? Do I look like Dr. Phil? And when I do decide to give advice I preface it by saying... I can help you with this! I watched Oprah. People usually learn but it does take time. :devilish:

On the other hand, there are many places one can sit and enjoy the animals throughout the resort. I enjoyed the rocking chairs on the patios accessed from the corridors. -T

Here comes the best advice regarding laundry... here in town the local laundry charges $1.00 a pound. It comes back folded and on hangers ready to be put away. Money well spent - I hate doing laundry. Check out your local laundry. I guarantee you'll get hooked! -T

Someone already mentioned the Animal Kingdom Lodge. There's nothing like the wonderful aroma of the ovens wafting up into the lobby.

We stayed there last winter and it was great! Our room was right across from the pool - just walked out the door and hopped over a shrub and I was in the pool. And it was just a short walk from the food court and laundry. I wish I could remember the name and room number. -Tony

Stayed there this past March and like it very much. But, for the money and what you get, I would rather stay at an All-Star resort and spend the difference doing something else. -T

Most of today's celebs and famous people leave so much to be desired. I can't think of one person that I would love to see in person. I ran into a couple of famous chefs at the Boston Food Show. They both took the time to chat which was very nice of them. -T

I stayed there this past March - or was it April? The mind is going....Anyway, I thought it was quite nice. I also noticed that there was constant maintenance going on - fences being painted, etc. I loved the bright tropical colors, too. -T

We didn't have a problem with our mugs. It didn't seem worth it to me, this last time, only because we were far from the food court and not worth the drive or walk to get a drink. In the past, when closer to the food court, I definitely got my money's worth. -T

They are both colorful, happy parades. Just goes to show how tastes vary and perferences very personal. Last April I managed to get a chair near one of the shops and thoroughly enjoyed the parade from my seated vantage point. -T

I forgot - 3 years ago I went during the month of June. Yes, it was crowded! But what really got to me was the heat and humidity. And it rained every afternoon - even that wasn't enough to cool me down. I hit the parks early in the day - and I remember my tolerance level disappearing around 2 -...

Relax! Enjoy! It's Disney and you are there. If it gets that bad head back to your hotel and enjoy some time by the pool.

I think a better question would be.... What can I do to make my wedding proposal extra special at Disney World?
