I think the telling part is that they "required multiple trips to the ER via ambulance." As many have said, those bugs wouldn't have made someone sick. Someone may have made themselves sick psychologically (which is understandable tbh), but this reads as the ER released them multiple times and...

I'll also add that I've always had terrible luck with luggage delivery at the values. They've never hit the three hour window for me once. Last time they came knocking on our door at 1am when we had arrived at the hotel around 7pm. Oddly it's always within the window at the moderates and above...

I just hope they go with the Disney Parks merch inside of Target, or at least keep a decent portion of it aimed at adults. Walking into a Disney store these days is the same as walking into the toy section at Target.
