    Lunch at kona cafe

The shrimp tempura roll was really good! (I can't have anything uncooked as I'm currently pregnant) it had mango in it as well as the shrimp, which isn't something I'd normally try, but I'm really glad I did. Next time I would ask for more of the sauce that came with it!

    Lunch at kona cafe

I just stopped for lunch there the other day, and yes! They serve lots of yummy sushi!

    French Quarter or Riverside?

Both are awesome resorts and you can't go wrong! I personally like POR more than POFQ, but that's all a matter of taste. POFQ is smaller, yet POR has the "Magnolia Bend" section where the buildings look like big southern mansions. I'm not sure which is more "kid friendly" but they are wonderful...

What restauraunts do you want to try your next visit??

I haven't...yet! I've heard it's pricy, but a really cool experience. DH and I are going to try for our next trip together!

What restauraunts do you want to try your next visit??

My list is pretty long, we have a habit of going back to places we love all the time, but the past few trips, we've made sure to try at least two new places each trip! My next trip I will be trying Sanaa and Restaurant Marrakesh with my mom! I'm really excited because DH doesn't usually go for...

What WDW resort would you never stay at and why?

There are a few I wouldn't stay at just because the theme doesnt appeal to me: Boardwalk (although I do like to visit), Carribean Beach, and The Contemporary. I also won't stay at values aside from AoA anymore. I've never been a huge fan, but now that I'm married and have a LO, I'd rather have...

    Few Questions!

    1. You can't park hop even with a restaurant reservation unfortunately. If you enter HS (without a park hopper) for the day, you can eat at HS, any Disney resort, Disney Springs, or offsite, but not at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, or Animal Kingdom. The resorts have wonderful restaurants, I would...

    Paradox

My husband did a conference at the Grand back in January. They only did half days though, they started at 8 and were done by 11-11:30 every day. Get away as soon as you can!!! And I do hope they provide you with Mickey waffles.

One Day at Disney - What Park would you recommend

I'm with Captian Hook, I would go either Epcot or Magic! Unless your son or daughter are huge Star Wars lovers, then going to DHS won't do much for you at the moment.

    Disney-moon help

POR is wonderfully for honeymooners! DH and I actually stayed there on ours last year! It's quieter than the values and wonderfully themed! I've also seen Cirque three times, and loved it each time! I saw it once as a child and loved it so much I begged for the DVD. I think it's still at my...

Can't decide between Coronado and Port Orleans Riverside

I've stayed at both and really enjoyed both!! It all depends on what theme you'll enjoy more. Personally I enjoyed the theming at POR more than the Mexican theme, but the rooms at both are lovely. Coronado seemed much bigger, but the pool was really cool! We didn't use the pool at POR, but I...

    Which Value resort to choose

I would pick (in this order) 1. AoA Little Mermaid 2. Pop 3. All Star Resorts (Movies is my favorite of the three, for no other reason than theming)

    Need some opinions!

I've tried most of the restaurants at DS with the exception of Reglan Road (which I've heard is really good and is on my husbands list for next real trip.) Although they have opened Morimoto (sp) which my husband will veto on our trips, so I might have to try that on the way back! Thank you :)...

    Oct '16 or Feb '17

There are pros and cons to both. October will be a little hotter, and because of MNSSHP, crowds will be a little bigger. But MNSSHP is a lot of fun and the fall decor all over is so cute! Febuary is cooler, and will be less crowded, but because it's "off season" there will be rides that are...

    Need some opinions!

Hello all! I'm driving down to Miami from where I live, and will be stopping at Disney for lunch as its one of my favorite parts of the drive since it breaks up my 7 1/2 hour drive. I usually stop at Magic (for dole whip) or Animal Kingdom (for lobster Mac and cheese) but the lobster mac is now...

Recommendations for someone who is vegetarian AND gluten free

I often go with friends who are gf, and I can't have lactose, so we usually all need the allergy menu. Something I've noticed, is that most QS places won't let you have the menu until you get to the register. It's quite annoying because then you hold up the line. At 1900 Park Fare, they made gf...

    Decisons-Help me make one

Stick with POR because of the royal rooms. They are so well done, and the resort is so quiet. POR is my favorite moderate!

    Zika in Disney???

I'm a Florida resident, and also pregnant, and neither my OB or husband (who is a doctor as well) are worried about Zika yet. We just just wear bug spray. Have a great trip!!

    Coronado Springs

This is a really funny post, because I had the EXACT same thing happen last year. I let my best friend pick and she picked Coronado, and I had never stayed there She had been once though, when she was 6, so I guess that parts different! I actually really liked it. It was a huge resort, and I'm...

Need help choosing a resort for our WDW Honeymoon

Since you've already stayed at AKL, why not stay at Wilderness or Beach? As far as those two, I would pick based on where you want to spend most of your park time as both are wonderful resorts.
